How do I know which CPR or BLS course I need?

BLS Provider is generally intended for healthcare professionals and others whose employer requires BLS. Heartsaver CPR AED & First Aid is designed for workplace employees and individuals who need or want CPR and First Aid training. If you're unsure, check with your employer or contact us and we'll help you choose.

Is this American Heart Association certification?

Yes. Pacific Safety & CPR offers American Heart Association BLS and Heartsaver courses. Students who successfully complete their course receive the applicable AHA course completion eCard.

How long is my certification valid?

AHA BLS and Heartsaver course completion cards are generally valid for two years.

What's the difference between BLS Provider and BLS Renewal?

BLS Provider is the best choice on our booking page for students taking BLS for the first time.

BLS Renewal is for healthcare professionals who have previously completed BLS training and are returning to renew or refresh their skills.

Where are individual classes held?

Classes are available in Hilo, Hawaiʻi. Class location and instructions are provided with your registration.

Do you provide training at our workplace?

Yes. We offer mobile CPR, First Aid and BLS training for businesses and organizations throughout East Hawaiʻi.

How many students are in a class?

Individual classes are intentionally kept small, with up to four students, allowing more hands-on practice and individual instruction.
