Q: Why doesn't PaceX track my runs?
A: PaceX is a planning tool, not a tracker. Use it to plan your race or workout.
Q: Where do my training paces come from?
A: The five training zones (Easy, Marathon, Threshold, Interval, Repetition) are based on Jack Daniels' VDOT methodology from"Daniels' Running Formula" (4th edition).
Q: Why is the marathon prediction higher than my goal?
A: PaceX uses the Riegel formula with a fatigue factor of 1.06, the standard for recreational runners. The prediction assumes you've done the marathon-specific training. Without distance training, your real marathon will be slower than the prediction.
Q: Does the app work offline?
A: Yes! the app works completely offline.
