Nabeel Mulla ("we," "us," or "our") built the Pace Keeper XC app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by Nabeel Mulla at no cost and is intended for use as is.

Information Collection and Use We respect your privacy. Pace Keeper XC does not secretly collect, harvest, or transmit any personally identifiable information from your device. The application operates locally on your device to provide its core timing and pacing functionalities.
Location Data and Background Tracking Pace Keeper XC collects location data to enable GPS course creation, pacing, and split tracking. This includes collecting location data in the background even when the app is closed or not in use (such as when you lock your screen while walking a course). All location data is processed and stored locally on your device to provide these core mapping functionalities. We do not transmit your location data to external servers, nor do we share it with or sell it to third parties.
Camera Access Our application requests access to your device's camera strictly for the purpose of scanning QR codes to import shared courses. The camera feed and any resulting images are processed entirely locally on your device. We do not record, collect, transmit, or store your camera data on any external servers.
Course Sharing and Exporting The application allows you to export course data via CSV files or by generating a QR code for other users to scan. This data is stored locally on your device. When you choose to share a course (either by showing your screen to another user or sharing a CSV file), you are doing so at your own discretion. Please be aware that shared courses contain exact GPS coordinates of the routes you have mapped. We do not host, monitor, or transmit this shared route data through our servers.
In-App Purchases and Google Play Billing Our app offers a voluntary "Tip Jar" feature to support the developer. All in-app purchases and transactions are handled securely and entirely by Google Play's Billing system. We do not process, collect, or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or billing address. Google's privacy policy governs the processing of those transactions.
Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
