Hi, I'm Pablo (he/him/his). I'm a PhD student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, under the supervision of Alex Zupan (IMDb). Before that, I was an undergrad student at Universidad San Francisco de Quito.

I have a hard time counting to more than 4 and I love drawing pictures, which directed my attention to low dimensional objects like 3 and 4-manifolds. 

I am interested in working with Handlebody decompositions of three and four-manifolds. I would like to tackle problems involving the classification of 4-manifolds. Potentially combining trisections and knot theory to understand knotted surfaces.
