VIDEO SUBMISSION RULES

1. Videos can be submitted by individuals or teams up to five people.

   • Note: Teams will designate one member as their primary contact person. If a team wins, prizes will be shipped to the contact person. Teams are responsible for divvying up the prize package amongst its members. Prizes will not be shipped outside the continental US.

   • Individuals or teams cannot submit more than one video. Individuals cannot be a member of multiple teams.

2. Videos should be between 5-15 minutes in length.

3. Videos should be formatted for Youtube.

   • Aspect ratio 16:9 recommended (pillarboxing automatically added if 4:3).

   • Accepted video formats: .mov, .mpeg4, .mp4, .avi

   • If captions are not included in the submitted video, Youtube's auto-captions will be added when posted by the competition moderator.

4. Though team members do not need to be from Pennsylvania, teams must pick a PA local climbing organization to represent, and videos must feature gyms or climbing areas located in Pennsylvania. Don't know where to climb? Use the LCO climbing area directories:

   • EPAC Climbing Areas

   • SWPACC Climbing Areas

   • SCPC Climbing Areas

5. Don't just submit your send videos — we want to hear your story! Videos must showcase a climbing narrative about community, friendship, mentorship, hardship, the journey toward sending (or not sending) a project, or the importance of public land for recreation.

6. Please limit profanity and other behavior that would be inappropriate for all audiences.

7. Videos should follow JEDI (justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion) principles, meaning they should not depict racist, homophobic, sexist, misogynistic or other hateful and harmful language and behaviors.

8. All videos will be screened by the competition moderator prior to posting to ensure the aforementioned rules are followed. The competition moderator reserves the right to reject video submissions that do not comply with the rules.

TIMELINE

• Competition opens: Monday, March 15th, 2021.

• Video submission deadline: Friday, May 28th, 2021 at 11:59pm EST. DEADLINE EXTENDED: SUBMIT BY 11:59 EST ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 2, 2021

• Videos will be posted on Youtube and in the Video Library as they are submitted and approved by the competition moderator.

• Fundraising goes LIVE: Wednesday, June 9th, 2021 until Wednesday June 16th, 2021 at 11:59pm EST.

• Winners announced on or before June 21st, 2021.
