The Pontotoc Masonic Lodge No. 81 F & AM has the privilege of awarding one $1,000 scholarship in the spring of each school year to one deserving high school senior. Eligibility for a scholarship shall be limited to high school seniors residing in the state of Mississippi and having a father or grandfather who is a Master Mason in good standing in Pontotoc Lodge No. 81 F. & A. M., or if deceased, was in good standing at the time of his death. Consideration will include, but not be limited to, the following: academic record, need, desire, future plans, and industriousness. Recipients must be have a tentative acceptance plan and after high school graduation attend an accredited community college or university. Applicants will be rewarded the scholarship in 4 payments across 4 consecutive semesters. Recipients must show proof of enrollment and course grades from previous semester to be awarded each scholarship payment.

The Grand Lodge of Mississippi awards the MURPHY-MARTIN ENDOWMENT FUND GRAND LODGE OF MISSISSIPPI, F. & A. M. to one high school senior per district of the Mississippi Grand Lodge annually. Eligibility for this scholarship shall be limited to high school seniors residing in the state of Mississippi and having a father, stepfather, brother, uncle, grandfather, or step-grandfather who is a Master Mason in good standing in a Lodge under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Mississippi F. & A. M., or if deceased, was in good standing at the time of his death. Consideration will include, but not be limited to, the following: academic record, need, desire, future plans, and industriousness.
