Project Third Eye is made by YueWorks. The game works offline and needs no account. Only the optional mods account (Proving Grounds) stores data online. It is never created automatically: the game first asks you to accept this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service, then waits for you to confirm that you want your account created.
What we collect and why:
- Meta user ID and display name: read through the Meta Platform SDK when you create your mods account. Used to identify your account.
- Account data: your credits, the mods you own and your reviews. Used to run your account and improve the mods. Reviews are analyzed automatically.
- Voice reviews (16+, only if you record one): transcribed on our own servers, then the recording is deleted (at the latest after 90 days).
- Play statistics: session length, crashes, game version and local hour of day, sent when your account signs in. Used to fix bugs.
Legal basis: our agreement with you (account), your consent (voice reviews) and our interest in a stable game (statistics). Only our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services) processes the data.
How long: account data until you delete your account, statistics for at most 2 years.
Delete your data: email projectthirdeyevr@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my account" and your Meta display name. We delete your account and all its data within 30 days.
Data subject rights: pursuant to Art. 15 to 21 GDPR, data subjects are entitled to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21); consent may be withdrawn with effect for the future pursuant to Art. 7(3) GDPR; the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR remains unaffected. Requests must be submitted in writing to projectthirdeyevr@gmail.com stating the Meta display name associated with the account.
