What is the most meaningful part of being a Sinfonian for you? Describe the essence of what it means to be a "Man of the Highest Type".
"What the most meaningful part of being a Sinfonian and being a Man of the Highest type means to me is living out the ideals of our fraternity in our daily life. It starts by understanding what the Sinfonia literally means and applying that to how we carry ourselves. These ideals are not, or might I say should not only be within our chapter walls, they should be in the back of our mind in everything that we do."
What does Province Unity mean to you? What might it look like?
"[A]ttending each other's events like Rs and just being there for support when it is needed. However, my vision for province unity is understanding that being a united province can be fun. When chapters are visiting each other, it doesn't have to be on business or for something serious. It can just be to hang out with each other and to get to know our brothers. This is something our chapters used to be really good at a short while ago but was lost due to covid and other factors, but I think bringing this back would do huge things for our province."
What does effective communication look like?
"[E]ffective communication is consistent and clear. Everyone communicates differently so making sure that expectations from both sides are discussed and agreed upon is important. It is also important to have open lines of communication so brothers do not have hesitation to reach out with questions, when they need help, to voice concerns, or to just chat with a brother."

"The reason that I want to run for this position is the same reason that I have aspired to do anything in our fraternity, that is for the advancement of the Sinfonia. In every office I have held or aspired to hold and in every action that I have took, it is to better myself, better my brothers, and to better the fraternity. We all have a calling in the Sinfonia, and this is one I am extremely passionate about. I believe that I am now prepared to be your CPR as I have held a chapter office for a couple of years now, I have faithfully served you all as ACPR, and I have learned over the past couple of years what it truly means to be a Sinfonian. Attending CPR convocation along with visiting some of your chapters, has given me so much valuable insight on how to be the best brother I can be.
I have two main goals that I hope to accomplish if elected. The first goal is to strengthen the relationship of the chapter and province level with the National Headquarters(NHQ) and the National Exec(NEC). This all starts with building an understanding. A lot of brothers, especially chapter exec, can sometimes view the NEC and NHQ as this evil governing body that is out for blood or to punish us when we slip up, and although punishment is sometimes part of their duties, they are also responsible for so many other things. I also want to point out that, although I am sure we all disagree with some of them, every decision they make is for a reason and it's not just to make our jobs more difficult. They think carefully about the decisions they make and rules they put forward with their main focus on putting our fraternity in the best spot it can be. At the end of the day, you don't know what you don't know, but that is why I think it is important to share with the province more about what the NEC and NHQ do, in order to build that understanding. My other main goal is to strengthen the bond between chapters in our province, and potentially chapters close to us outside of our province. When chapters are putting on events, there is no reason brothers from different chapters should not be there, especially Rs. Attending the joint Theta Eta/Phi Omega R was magical because of the amount of brothers in attendance, but there is no reason every R in the province should not be that way. The problem is, the first step is the hardest. Getting our chapter brothers to do anything outside the isolation of our own chapter walls is extremely difficult, I have faced this problem myself with my own chapter brothers, but when you get them to take that first step, it is much easier to get them more involved in the future. That way when R season roles around, the connection is already there. I personally aim to create more smaller, low stakes, events in order to get our brothers to meet each other."

What is the most meaningful part of being a Sinfonian for you? Describe the essence of what it means to be a "Man of the Highest Type".
"I find being able to better myself and better my brothers through the power of music and to be able to share this music to better mankind as a whole is the most meaningful part of being a Sinfonian to me."
What does Province Unity mean to you? What might it look like?
"Province unity is very important to me like I have stated in my platform. I believe that this is something we should strive to accomplish to become a stronger province and to continue to grow ourselves and the fraternity as a whole. My hope is that we can be more interconnected, have more large scale events, have more combined Rs, even a province wide R. I want to be as close with brothers from another chapter as much as I am close with my chapters brothers. Hopefully, we can accomplish this in the future and have a strong unified province that we all can be proud of."
What does effective communication look like?
"I believe effective communication is being consistent and timely and that there is communication both ways. As a CPR, the main portion of the position is communication, without it, the CPR cannot effectively represent the province and the chapters within the province. This is one of my goals that I want to focus on and I hope to continue to improve it anyway I can."

"My primary reason for wanting to run for this position is because I love this fraternity and I am passionate about wanting us to succeed in our missions. Over the past few years, I have served in many positions and currently serve as your ACPR2. While I have not been able to accomplish as much as I would have liked to by now, I have learned more of what this position really means in the fraternity and I want to give my time and energy into bringing our province together and to better Sinfonia as best as I can.
The three platforms I am running on are: Brotherhood, Officer Development, and Communication. These three areas are something I value the most and want to help our province grow in.
My first platform is brotherhood, this is something that I have strived to improve in my chapter and I hope I can improve within our province. Over the years, I have noticed a disconnect between our chapters and I want that to change. I want us to have more connection between our chapters and to have more joint events together. My goal is to have another major event like winter workshop that is more focused on brotherhood and music. I also want to make our discord more active, like hosting movie or games nights, and just other activities that we can do online to make it more convenient. This is something I want to strive for and I believe is a reasonable goal.
My second platform is officer development, I have stated in the past that I want to have our province be more of a resource to help chapters. This goal is important to me because my chapter has struggled in recent years with regaining our strength due to inadequate transitions of information and lack of brotherhood. I am currently helping to improve this on the national level, being the Secretary of the Officer Training and Resource Development subcommittee of the CPR council. I want to give chapters in this province more resources to aid them and their endeavors. My goal is to expand our provincial officer resource library with more useful guides and other resources as well as continue to have an officer development event like we did this past January.
My third and final platform is communication, this is something that has recently improved vastly. I want to continue to improve our province's communication and transparency, making sure that we all are on the same page and are informed well enough. My goal for this is to continue to communicate information as much as possible and as soon as possible. I want to personally also improve in this myself by being more timely with my communication as well as visiting in person to communicate in person.
My hope is to continue to better this province and the brothers in it and in return to better myself as a man and as a Sinfonian."
Fun Fact: Luke was PoM after just a couple of months of Brotherhood!
What does Province Unity mean to you? What might it look like?
"Province Unity to me means showing up for your fellow brother whenever able. It means that if you are asked to go to an event with another chapter within your province, you show up unless you have a reason not to. It also means just bonding with other chapters whenever possible. Province Unity can look like a number of things. The one that immediately comes to mind is going to other Chapter's Rits. Being a PM in the joint R between Theta Eta and Phi Omega was an amazing experience because we had a huge choir and a fantastic turn out of brothers. Another thought is to have Chapter Bonding Times as we do Brother Bonding times. Doing the same things that we would do as a chapter, just with another chapter as well."
What does effective communication look like?
"Effective Communication to me looks like everyone being on the same page. Ensuring that the message is delivered many times and very toughly to ensure that everyone is in agreeance about what is being communicated. Effective communication is also making sure that everyone that needs to know knows and being prepared to answer questions about what is being communicated, or being able to point someone in the right direction to have their questions answered."
Luke was initiated into the Theta Eta Chapter at Wright State University in November of 2025. Luke currently serves as the Warden of the Theta Eta Chapter.
Originally from Springfield, Ohio, Luke is in his Freshman year of Music Education at Wright State. He is a current member of The Pride of Dayton Marching Band, WSU's Jazz Band, Concert Band, and Tenor Bass Chorus. This fall, Luke will serve as Drum Major to The Pride of Dayton.
"I am running for ACPR 2 to gain experience in Sinfonia. I would like to grow as a Sinfoinan and help my Province do the same. As a Newly Initiated Brother I would like to gain connections within the province that expand outside of my Chapter. I would like to be able to be a brother that can be relied on time and again when a Chapter is in need.
One of my main goals if I am elected is to help connect the chapters of Province 3 to make them more unified as Brothers. The culture within the brotherhood is that I will only show up if I am required to, or it benefits me in some way. I would like to help show my fellow brothers that when you show up for Sinfonia, Sinfonia will show up for you. No matter what is happening, if you are invited to another chapter's event, if you are free you should go. A major way to grow in Sinfonia is if you show up for your fellow brother. I want to help create a culture within the province that we are not separate chapters, but instead one large brotherhood.
Another of my Goals is to create a culture of help and mutual welfare within the province. I want the Chapters of Province 3 to be able to reach out and say that they need help and that they will then have help. I don't want chapters to feel isolated in the way that they function. I want them to know that there is a teato me m of people that will help them with whatever they may need. I want the chapters to not be afraid to ask for assistance when they need it. I don't want the chapters to feel like distance is an issue, I want them to feel like they have a safety net of brothers around them whenever they may need it."
What is the most meaningful part of being a Sinfonian for you? Describe the essence of what it means to be a "Man of the Highest Type".
"The most meaningful part if being a Sinfonian to me is the Brotherhood. Knowing that out there in the world there are thousands of people who are living out and carrying the same ideals of Sinfonia that I am. The essence of being a Man of the Highest Type, is to follow the ideals set forth from day one in the etudes book every day. It is living out and embodying the ideals of Sinfonia. Being a Man of the Highest Type is not letting others tell you how to live your life. Sticking to your ideals and your moral truths even when the people around you are not."
Fun Fact: Gabriel is in the process of arranging parts of the Pokémon soundtrack for full scale big band!
What does Province Unity mean to you? What might it look like?
"“Province Unity” to me means seeing each chapter's presence spanning outside just their own institution, and deeper than the bare minimum of just going to R’s. I want to see brothers from Phi Omega taking a drive down to Eta-Omicron just to hang out with some brothers. I want a coordinated trip from brothers starting in Alpha Theta, bringing brothers from the Dayton chapters, going through Beta Xi, all to go out to Beta Lambda for a day to get together and do something. I strive for it to feel like a provincial brotherhood, rather than just showing up to an R or two, and calling a day in inter-province relations."
Gabriel was initiated into the Theta Eta chapter at Wright State University in November of 2024. Hehas served as Warden and Music Director. Gabriel currently holds the offices of PCR, Fraternity and Sorority Council Representative, Sergeant-at-Arms, and Assistant Music Director.
Gabriel is a third year Junior pursuing a degree in music performance. Primarily a brass player with trombone as his main instrument, he also plays guitar and bass. He also plays piano/keyboard with the primary student-led jazz combo. A member of every top instrumental ensemble at Wright State, Gabriel holds either principle or second chair in each ensemble.
"The reason that I am running for ACPR is out of a sheer love for my brothers and this fraternity. This brotherhood in just a year has helped me through some very difficult times, and I feel that it is my time to give back to my brothers in a meaningful way. Through having the current CPR Br. Chris Lynch within my chapter, I have been able to see the impact that a good leader and communicator within the province can have, and I want to help push Province 3 to the next level."
What is the most meaningful part of being a Sinfonian for you? Describe the essence of what it means to be a "Man of the Highest Type".
"Being a Sinfonian to me, is getting to see people out and about in public, and depending on just one interaction, you know that you both share a unique experience that just about nobody around you knows about or understands."
What does effective communication look like to you?
"The best communication in my opinion is timely, clear, and to the point. Having confirmation that someone has not just received, but read your message in its entirety is something I have found crucial in the past. Having multiple forms of communication is also very helpful, such as having an open email and phone number."
