Who pays for the loan car?

Under our agreement with you, you will not be liable for the rental costs provided you are not at-fault, assist us in recovery of those costs from the at fault driver or their insurer and otherwise act in accordance with the terms and conditions of our agreement.

If we require your assistance in recovering the rental costs, this may include you having to provide documents, witness statements, and in some cases, appearing in court as a witness in proceedings we commence in your name.

What happens if the at fault party doesn’t pay?

If the at fault insurer doesn’t pay the invoice we may commence legal proceedings in your name against the insurer. If this happens we may require your assistance, such as providing us with a statement and in some instances attending court as a witness. Please note, over 98% of our customers are not required to attend court.

Will you be stuck with the costs of the loan car?

Provided you are not at fault, fulfil your obligations and otherwise act in accordance with the terms and conditions of our agreement, we will not hold you liable for the loan car costs, even if the insurers come to a different decision later on.
