Ozgen Ozturk

I am a macroeconomist and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, working mainly with Federica Romei. Before joining Oxford, I obtained my PhD in Economics at the European University Institute (EUI), in Florence, Italy, where I worked under the supervision of Russell Cooper and Árpád Ábrahám. I am also working with the DMP team, a joint initiative of Bank of England, University of Nottingham, and Stanford University.

My research interests are centered around macrofinance, international economics, and monetary policy. In my studies, I use micro-level data, and develop quantitative models with firm heterogeneity.

I am on the 2024-25 job market, and I will be available for interviews at the EEA 2024 and the ASSA 2025
