The man that found and eventually adopted Ozalie after finding the injured kit in the wasteland of 'The Burn'. Theodore Varoux is the eorzean alias for Garlean native 'Theodorus Het Vitrasius'. At a young age he garnered a lot of attention back home due to his outspoken nature and activism. This earned him his title of 'Het' having been elected to the seat as a head for the Populares. Theo lacked interest in the power he gained from his position, instead he always dreamed of the day where he could leave and explore the world. Eventually Theodorus' hand was forced after an assassination attempt endangered his fiancé, soon after he defected running away from Garlemald altogether. He found himself under the employ of Sharlayan after his defection and soon became a gleaner finally getting to travel and explore as he had so desired too but could not do before. Theo was lost at The Battle of Cartenou while fighting alongside his son, no body was ever recovered and he was presumed dead some months after the conflict ended.

Ozalie never got over the death of his father, the garlean man having been his hero. Ozalie is currently unaware that his father is still alive but unable to return to the kit due to extraneous circumstances. Not a day goes by where Theo isn't actively searching for a way to return to his family. 

Dennia is a strong willed woman with an attitude as big as her axe, and her muscles. She prides herself on her strangth and ability to care for her loved ones in everyway from tender care to brute strength. 'Denni' is a duskwright woman native to Gridania that meets Theo and Oz when they move to Gridania after the exodus. Dennia is the one that convinces Theo to fight in cartenou instead of running, she still lives in Gridania though her and Ozalie have fallen out of touch since Theo's death both blamingt themselves and too ashamed to face the other. Dennia likes sour flavors and spends most of her time working on rebuilding and reconnecting with Gelmorra.

Teige is a gaurdian of Niahm, a village set near the highest point of the Skatay Range. He plays his role for his village without question and never questioned anything about how their village operates in comparison to those further down the mountain. His mind begins to change however when he meets Ragna and having a child together. He is then faced with the understanding that he will miss a lot of his child's growth due to men not being allowed in the village which puts him at odds with their chief and the other villagers. 

Once a garlean soldier Anastazja was left behind on the skatay mountain when she was seperated from her scouting party. Never having excelled in combat or showed prowess in engineering Ana was largely forgotten among her fellow garleans as a hinderance. Freezing to death on the mountain she was found by Teige who helped her down the mountain off too the foothills where she would be able to reconnect with others. During their adventures down the mountain however the pair grew to care for one another. Ana ended up pleading with the mothers of Teige's burrow to be allowed to stay on the mountain, she would be allowed to stay on the mountain but not within the burrow. Further if she had any children they would have to grow up in the burrow until they were of age.
