Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Computer Science from the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (INAOE), under the supervision of Prof. José Martínez-Carranza. With nine years of experience in research, science communication, and the development of autonomous drone technologies, has contributed to three funded projects, designing artificial intelligence prototypes in INAOE’s robotics laboratory. Completed a research stay at the University of Zurich with Prof. Davide Scaramuzza. Serves as captain of the QuetzalC++ drone team, which has earned awards at IROS, IMAV, NeurIPS, the OpenCV AI Competition, and most recently participated in the A2RL x DCL Autonomous Drone Championship. Author of 12 articles in JCR-indexed journals, 13 papers in international conferences, and 3 book chapters.
