If you want a lightweight, ultra-stable connection with a unique rotary interface for quick adjustments on the road, choose OYEALEX Active Noise Cancelling; if you need maximum battery endurance, superior call clarity in wind, and a foldable design for travel, choose Wentronic Y02.
• OYEALEX Active Noise Cancelling: Strength lies in its ultra-low latency (0.06ms) and distinctive rotary knob control, making it ideal for users who prioritize tactile responsiveness and stable Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity; however, its 50-hour battery life is shorter than the competition.
• Wentronic Y02: Strength is found in its massive 60-hour playtime, rapid 10-minute fast charging capability, and foldable construction designed for portability; yet, it lacks the specialized low-latency tuning of the OYEALEX model.
• Best For: OYEALEX suits those prioritizing immediate control and audio synchronization, while Wentronic is built for long-haul commuters and travelers who cannot afford to stop and charge.
The OYEALEX Active Noise Cancelling headphones are engineered for the rider or commuter who values a direct, tactile connection to their device. What stands out immediately from the specifications is the inclusion of a multi-functional rotary knob button. In a world where most over-ear headphones rely solely on touch-sensitive pads or standard push buttons, this rotary feature offers a level of precision that feels more like adjusting a dial on a high-end stereo system. For someone wearing gloves or needing to make quick volume adjustments without fumbling for a specific touch zone, this mechanical approach is a significant advantage. The control method combines both push buttons and the rotary knob, ensuring that critical functions like noise cancellation activation or track skipping can be executed with a simple turn or press.
Comfort is another pillar of this design, specifically tailored for extended wear during long rides. The ear muffs are constructed from breathable cloth material, a crucial detail for anyone using these as best kids headphones for motorcycle use or for adults navigating hot summer days on two wheels. Unlike synthetic leather that can trap heat, this breathable fabric allows air to circulate, reducing the "sweaty ear" effect that often plagues over-ear ANC headphones after an hour of use. The pressure-reducing head beam pad further ensures that the weight distribution remains balanced, preventing the fatigue that comes from tight clamping forces.
The audio architecture focuses on immersion through a 40mm titanium-plated composite diaphragm. This driver type is known for delivering deep bass and a wide frequency response ranging from 20 Hz to 20 KHz, which is essential for capturing the full spectrum of music or the nuances of a podcast. With Bluetooth 5.4 technology, the signal stability is top-tier, boasting a range of 33 feet. However, the standout spec here is the audio latency of just 0.06 milliseconds. While many users might not notice this difference in casual listening, for anyone using these headphones for motorcycle riding where visual cues and audio timing must align perfectly, or for gaming, this near-instantaneous transmission eliminates any lag. It is a device built for those who want a modern minimalist aesthetic with a purple enclosure finish and a focus on spatial sound quality that rivals a cinema atmosphere.

However, this product is not for everyone. If your primary concern is absolute battery longevity for week-long trips without access to power, the 50-hour average life of the OYEALEX is respectable but falls short of the Wentronic alternative. Additionally, the lack of a foldable design means these occupy more space in a backpack or saddlebag compared to competitors. The warranty description notes no customer package warranty, which is a factor for risk-averse buyers who prefer a guaranteed one-year protection plan. These headphones are best suited for the adult rider or office worker who needs a reliable, comfortable, and highly controllable audio experience without the bulk of a folding mechanism.
The Wentronic Y02 is clearly positioned as the workhorse of the two, designed for individuals who demand reliability over long durations and versatility across different environments. The most compelling feature in its specification sheet is the battery performance. With an average life of 60 hours and a remarkable fast-charging capability that provides 4 hours of playback from just 10 minutes of charging, this headphone solves the anxiety of running out of power. For a traveler, a student studying all day, or a motorcyclist on a cross-country journey, knowing that a brief coffee break is enough to keep the music going for hours is a game-changer. The ability to quickly top up the battery makes it an ideal choice for memory foam ear cushions true wireless earbuds for motorcycle scenarios where charging ports might be scarce or inconvenient.
Durability and portability are woven into the very DNA of the Y02. The foldable design is a practical necessity for anyone carrying their headphones in a handbag, suitcase, or even a large pocket. When combined with the skin-friendly PU protein leather and high-resilience memory foam ear cups, the result is a pair of headphones that can be packed away compactly and then expanded for comfort. The memory foam conforms to the ears effectively, ensuring a secure seal that aids the active noise cancellation technology. This seal is vital for blocking out the roar of traffic or the wind noise encountered on a bike, allowing the listener to focus entirely on the content. The enclosure material is faux leather, which offers a sleek, modern look in grey and is generally easier to clean than fabric options.
Audio performance on the Y02 is robust, featuring a 40mm dynamic driver with a composite diaphragm that supports Hi-Res Audio. The manufacturer specifies five distinct music modes accessible via a simple knob, allowing users to tailor the sound signature to their genre preference, whether it is rock, pop, electronic, jazz, or classical. The frequency range matches industry standards at 20Hz to 20kHz, ensuring that both the deep bass and crisp highs are rendered accurately. Furthermore, the Bluetooth 5.4 chip ensures a stable connection up to 10 meters (33 feet), matching the range of the OYEALEX. The inclusion of multiple high-sensitivity microphones is particularly noteworthy for call quality. The specs explicitly mention the suppression of traffic, wind, and crowd noise, making the Y02 a strong contender for anc open ear earbuds for motorcycle users who also take calls while riding.
Despite these strengths, there are trade-offs to consider. The Y02 does not advertise the ultra-low latency figure of 0.06ms found in the OYEALEX, meaning it may not be the optimal choice for real-time gaming or synchronized video editing where frame-perfect audio sync is required. The control scheme relies on standard push buttons rather than the intuitive rotary knob of the OYEALEX, which some users might find less satisfying for precise volume adjustments. Additionally, while the battery life is superior, the charge time is listed as 10 minutes for a boost, whereas the full charge cycle isn't explicitly detailed as being faster than the OYEALEX's 2-hour cycle, though the speed of the boost is impressive. This model is perfect for the teenager or adult who travels frequently, works in noisy offices, or commutes daily and needs a durable, long-lasting companion that folds away easily.

But for the general consumer seeking a reliable, long-lasting pair of ANC open ear earbuds for motorcycle adventures or office work, the Wentronic Y02 is the clear winner. Its ability to handle long trips without recharging and its superior call noise suppression make it the more practical investment for the average buyer.

The Wentronic Y02 includes a 1-year warranty description, providing peace of mind for the buyer, whereas the OYEALEX model lists no customer package warranty in its specifications.
The OYEALEX Active Noise Cancelling features a multi-functional rotary knob button which allows for sensitive, one-touch control that is often easier to manipulate with gloves than the standard push buttons found on the Wentronic Y02.
