Wondering where your textbook is?
This is a Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC) class, which means that you won’t have to pay to access any of the course content if you don’t want to! We still have a textbook that you will be required to read, but all required course materials are provided for free through the use of Open Educational Resources (OER) and other freely accessible materials.
You will have access to all readings, videos, assignments, and other course content through Canvas.
OER allow instructors more freedom to customize their course materials due to the open copyright rules applied to them. These materials are available online, and most can also be downloaded for offline use. If you would prefer to do the reading in a printed book, a low-cost printed version can be purchased at the bookstore.
This course is ZTC, so that means that you do not need to buy a book! Instead, I have curated a selection of free short stories, articles, and readings devoted to advancing your writing development. Including two free ZTC books integrated into our Canvas that I edited and contributed to: Book Title A, Book Title B.
