OPC Bride's Parlor

This group will provide an opportunity for parents/guardians to pray over our children and the children of the congregation and community. There are a myriad of challenges facing our youth – and we seek to actively join together in prayer for them. We also hope this will serve to deepen our own spirituality, and provide a community of mutual support as we navigate this season of life. We’ll pray for our children to know God more and more, to seek God in their decisions and interactions with those around them, and to be confident in God’s love and provision especially through the ups and downs of childhood and adolescence.

We will read a passage of scripture together each week, share praises/prayer requests, and pray! Any concerns shared will be kept confidential within the group, unless a specific request for pastoral care or congregational prayer is made.

Written as a heartfelt invitation to embrace God’s love, this book offers a path to living with greater purpose, peace, and joy. Each session will include discussion on the text and suggested devotional practices for the Lenten and Easter seasons. As we journey through Lent together, let us reflect on what it means to be chosen, blessed, broken, and given in Christ.
