The Oxford Global Law Society is Oxford's connection to the broader legal world. Established to address the lack of attention given to unique international legal happenings, OGLS aims to cover a broad range of topics such as conflicts of law, public international law and global legal affairs. Our society strives to challenge the overly traditional focus in Oxford's legal community - promoting a more diverse understanding of law.
We hope to run a wide range of events, from interviewing academics and politicians involved with interesting law and policy work to networking events with firms involved with groundbreaking legal work continents away. All events will be free as we do not want any barriers, financial or otherwise, to obstruct our mission of globalising the Oxford legal community.
