We're a student-run society that's all about learning and having fun playing the ukulele!
We run sessions every week where we gather to learn a few songs around particular themes. Previous themes we've done include everything from pop & rock classics, songs about stars, to creature music (music for/about creatures)! We also welcome recommendations at the end of our sessions if there are any particular ones you'd like to play.
We're a small & friendly group of ukulele players, and there are (almost always) snacks at our sessions. Even if you haven't played the ukulele before & don't have one yourself, we'll be starting from the basics at each session with the option to borrow our society ukuleles for the day. Do come along if you'd like to have a chilled evening to play the week's stress away and see friendly faces!
We try to make our sessions as accessible as possible. This includes keeping our sessions free & open to everyone to drop-in. There's no committment to come every week, or to come from the start of each term.
