Oxalides Forest School is located in the foothills of Imittos mountain, in Athens.

Our Forest School runs weekend sessions for toddlers and children of up to 8 years of age. Our sessions aim to bring children in touch with nature, whilst helping them cultivate their independence, creativity, and social skills.

WEEKEND GROUPS
We offer sessions for learners aged 2-8 on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Why not try one of our groups. We offer regular sessions in the woodland of Imittos. Our sessions promote holistic learning, exploration and supported risk taking.
Our programme helps children develop their fine and gross motor skills whilst following their own interests. This builds confidence and self esteem.

SCHOOL VISITS
We offer nature based programmes for one-off school visits. Students get the chance to learn about the local flora and fauna in a hands-on way, both through individual exploration, and team games and group crafts.

We love making all sorts of things out of mud! From mud faces and mud cakes, to painting with mud, the possibilities are endless. Playing with mud is not only good for stress relief. It can also enhance creativity, imagination, critical thinking and communication skills.
