Teaching Opportunity

Owl Preschool provides the perfect opportunity for teachers in training to gain experience teaching English abroad. Nestled in the foothills of beautiful Hualien, Taiwan, two English teachers are hired every 6 months to teach around 50 Taiwanese preschool students. The sessions are from January-June and July-December to make it easy to defer college for a semester. 

Teachers teach 3 lessons a day, Monday-Friday, and then have the weekends free to explore the beautiful Island. Taipei (and the Temple) is only a 2-hour train ride away, and the church is a 5-minute bike ride from the school. 

Teachers live above the preschool in housing provided by the principal, are given a bike to use during their stay and have opportunities to earn additional money in after-school tutoring. 

After a 90-day stay, teachers are given an opportunity to travel to another Asian country to do more exploring.
