A full explanation of the triple cross-bar symbol of an eight-lamp (or candle) church sanctuary, chapel, or oratory light-stand (or candelabrum) is given on p. 234 of the author's "The Knotted Pilgrim" (2003, unpublished, in private circulation). The explanation appears in the chapter, "Eastern Esoteric Christianity - Its Sanctified Time". and the chapter title page has the same image as the cover of the author's "Now is the Time for Uncommon Prayer..." (2023) which depicts a circle of calendar and time symbols in the pavement of the Jerusalem St. Mary's Dormition Church.
