I'm Owen Sandiford, and my pronouns are they/them. I'm currently studying Educational Support in order to become an Educational Assistant. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, and I'm an AMI certified Montessori Teacher. 

I took a break from Montessori during the COVID-19 lockdown, and moved home to PEI. During that time away, I realized I would rather support individuals and small groups of students with exceptionalities within the public education system, so I decided to go back to school to re-train as an EA. 

Outside of work and school I enjoy volunteering with Camp Aspen, a sleep-away camp for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth run by PEERS Alliance. I'm also a member of PEITN's Queer Choir, and I take dance classes at Dance Umbrella.
