Meet the Director

Mr. Zachary Osborn is the Director of Bands at Owendale-Gagetown Area Schools. Mr. Osborn is a graduate of Saginaw Valley State University where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Music Education. Mr. Osborn began his college career at the University of Michigan - Flint where he was a member of the Wind Symphony, Jazz Ensemble, University Chorale, and small chamber groups. Once at SVSU, he performed as a member of the Concert Band, Marching Band, Pep Band, Percussion Ensemble, and multiple chamber groups, as well as giving many solo performances. He now performs music and gives private brass lessons around the Mid-Michigan area. Mr. Osborn has worked with multiple Michigan marching bands since 2015 as a marching and brass instructor. This involves collaboration with other band directors and instructors to prepare bands for the marching season.
