Hello! My name is Kaitlyn! As I've stated on the main page, I'm a 24 year old Culinarian with two degrees: Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University and an Associate's Degree in Baking & Pastry Arts from the College of Southern Nevada.
I was originally born in Long Island, New York, but moved to Las Vegas, Nevada when I was a child. I started my culinary track in life when I attended a technical high school for my Freshman and Sophomore years. For my Junior and Senior years of high school, I attended a hybrid-learning environment where I had the opportunity to attend high school classes as well as college courses. Once I graduated high school in May 2019, I proceeded to obtain my Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts from the College of Southern Nevada in May of 2020. And one more year later in May of 2021 I had earned by Associate's Degree in Baking and Pastry.
For two years (2021-2023), I attended Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island, where I expanded on the basic fundamentals of my previous degree to advance to a Bachelor Degree in Culinary Arts. My family had moved to Florida in December of 2021, and I have since found a love and appreciation for working for myself. Under the Cottage Food Law in the state of Florida, I'm able to jumpstart my home bakery on my own time, expenses, and such. While I'm still starting out and figuring things as I go, I know a few things for certain: I will produce goodies that are fun, tasty and creative for the whole family.
