Welcome to my website! I am a senior lecturer in Economics at the University of Queensland (UQ) in Brisbane, Australia. I obtained a Ph.D. in Economics from Duke University in 2017 and joined UQ in 2018. You can view my profile on my UQ Experts page or via my ORCID.
Research and Teaching Interests
My main research and teaching interests lie in econometrics and data science, focusing on robust identification and estimation of multi-index and panel data models, causal inference methods, and dimension reduction techniques for managing high-dimensional data. I am actively developing methods for high-dimensional inference and exploring the intersection of econometrics and machine learning. In addition to my theoretical work, I apply these methods to real-world issues in areas such as health and financial economics.
