That time I hypothetically sent a bunch of English teachers to a mobile media conference

My solution is to get teachers out into the "real world" to figure out the functional why of why students need to learn their subjects. Then they can teach the subjects like they're already in the real world, with an emphasis on getting students acquainted with the technology they'll need out there.
Why don't I believe teachers have the technology?
How do we introduce teachers to the technology they need?
What went right and wrong along the way?
