Calendar sharing isn't limited to the default Calendar folder that is created in all Outlook profiles. You can create additional calendar folders and choose which of those folders to share. For example, you can create a calendar folder for a specific project and share it with your co-workers. Optionally, you can grant them permission to modify the events and appointments in the calendar.

If you're using Microsoft 365, you can still publish your calendar to a WebDAV server, but you must first remove {Anonymous:CalendarSharingFreeBusySimple} from the sharing policy. This will prevent you from publishing your calendar to Exchange in the future, however.

If you don't want to give someone permissions to share your calendar and see updates, you can email a static copy of your calendar for a specific date range. The recipient will be able to see the events on your calendar at the time you sent the email, but not any updates you make after you send the email.

Declined meetings that are part of a series don't appear to show up in the Deleted Items folder. Also, copying from someone's calendar doesn't work with private calendars. In this scenario, there doesn't seem to be a way to accept the meeting other than having someone resend it.

I organize an event and invite attendants. They respond with different options - accepted, rejected, tentative and others - it is up to their local language what is reason of confusion.I need to create such rule (without API if it is possible) which will gather all calendar items and move them to specific folder. Now using 'Rules Wizard' we have e.g. 'assigned to category' but it does not meet the expectations for these categories are related to colors used to mark an item; there is also 'which is a meeting invitation or update' but it does not meet the expectations for it is related to events organized by someone else.I just want to organize all responds for my own events.

Delegate: In addition to "Editor" permissions, a delegate can also be selected to receive calendar notifications/requests/invitations. By default, 'Delegates' cannot view/modify events set to Private. You do have the option to grant the delegate the ability to view (full details) Private events.

Owner: In addition to "Editor" permissions, a delegate can also be selected to receive calendar notifications/requests/invitations. By default, 'Delegates' cannot view/modify events set to Private. You do have the option to grant the delegate the ability to view (full details) Private events.

Hi guys. I just started learning Python a few months ago and as a practice, I wanted to automate one simple process at work. What I wanted to accomplish was to get the data from the internal cloud service through REST API, create a meeting request in the outlook calendar, populate it with the data acquired and send it to the assignee specified in the source.

The only problem is, that I'm only able to create the meeting request in my own calendar. What I need is to be able to create a meeting request in the shared calendar, that is located in the outlook "other calendars" folder.

Unfortunately, that didn't help. I was able to access different folders, but not the calendar folders I needed. Is there a way to do this? How can I navigate the outlook calendar folders and create meeting requests in them? Is it even possible? I tried to look for the solution on the internet but to no avail. Your help is much appreciated.

I'm trying to setup a Flow to copy new events from a public folder calendar to another public folder calendar in Office 365. I can get Flow to read events from my local default calendar, but can't determine the Calendar ID's for the public folder calendars no matter what I try--including quering the Office 365 API URL's. Any help would be desparately appreciated.

In short, I want a small department's shared calendar to automatically copy new events to the entire firm's shared public folder calendar. I thought this would be easy with Flow but it's turning out not to be the case.

After installing Office 2010 SP2 (or an earlier update), Outlook 2010 users started noticing Event ID 27, "Calendar Folder property is missing" warnings in the Event viewer's Application log. While annoying, it's not harmful and should only be generated when Outlook is first started, one event for each calendar in the profile.

>Calendar item will always show the type as "Mail".

>This is by design and message class format which has been confirmed with Next Level Team

>To test the same selected 2 items from the calendar and restored to.pst file

>After successful restore we imported the same to outlook and it restores as mail.

When you have multiple Exchange accounts configured in Outlook or have added additional Exchange mailboxes, then each account or mailbox will use its own Calendar folder as the default Calendar. This will prevent them from getting mixed up.

When you create an event on your group calendar, all the group members will be notified of this unless you change the calendar permissions. That is a very useful feature of Office 365 sharing a calendar.

Yes exactly. If I send out an Invite it is always sent from the email address that provides the calendar. Besides I use the local calendar folder on my computer to be the default. In that case, invitations can be sent out from the second email not providing the google calendar.

You can move a whole calendar at one time by right-click on the specific local calendar and choosing Move Folder. This only works if it is a sub-folder of the default calendar. For the main local calendar, you would have to choose Copy Folder and then afterwards delete the local events.

I have found it easier to view your local calendar as Agenda instead of Month , (make sure to uncheck Hide Past if you want to copy older events as well) you can select all the events and choose Move to folder.

I think this is related, so I will put it here. I did not have a default calendar for one of my accounts when an invite came in. The invite ended up going into my local folder. I now want to move that meeting to one of my Google Calendars, but it will not move. I select the folder, click save and it stays assigned to the local folder. I tried looking to see if there was something in the logs, but I have not been able to find the logs.

This is information related to the proper method for setting up and responding to Outlook calendar meetings and appointments. This article can be used to facilitate the prevention of having Outlook calendar events from being sent directly to other user's deleted items folder.

If you are using Outlook 2016 or O365, when you attempt to update any existing calendar event, you may have some of the recipients report that the updated calendar event is missing or has been sent to the Deleted Items folder.

I am new to working with Outlook using VB.net and have read this article and it is really what i have been looking for, however how do you set up the connection to outlook/exchange server to get the users calendar? not sure if i missed one of the initial posts which discussed this?

Delegate Access is a more advanced feature than just sharing your Outlook folders. If you want to grant additional permissions, such as allowing a delegate the ability to create e-mail messages or respond to meeting requests on your behalf, you must use Delegate Access. If you wish only to share Outlook folders then refer to, KB00111004, Sharing an Outlook calendar.

Use the Synchronization Profiles dialog to configure different synchronization profiles. Each profile is responsible for synchronizing one Outlook calendar/task or contact folder with a remote folder of a CalDAV/CardDAV server.

If you want to sync multiple CalDAV calendars or tasklists into one Outlook folder you can configure an Outlook category for filtering in the Mapping Configuration. You can choose a category from the dropdown list of all available Outlook categories or enter a new category name. For all events/tasks from the server the defined category is added in Outlook, when syncing back from Outlook to the server only appointments/tasks with that category are considered but the filter category is removed. The category name must not contain any commas or semicolons! With the checkbox Sync also Appointments without any category also all appointments/tasks without a category are synced to the server. With the checkbox below you can alternatively negate the filter and sync all appointments/tasks except this category. For calendars it is also possible to choose the color of the category or to fetch the calendar color from the server and map it to the nearest supported Outlook category color with the button Fetch Color. With Set DAV Color it is also possible to sync the choosen category color back to set the server calendar color accordingly. With Category Shortcut Key you can define the shortcut key of the selected category for easier access when creating appointments.

Experimental mapping of the first category color of the appointment to the matching COLOR attribute of the event is also available with the option Map Event Color to Category. When mapping a COLOR from the server to Outlook the first matching Outlook category with that color is used, but mapping can be manually changed in the options.xml config file. Together with DAVdroid for Android you can map individual event colors from Android to Outlook, but not all calendar apps support it or can even crash, see -event-colors-crash/

you can try to change the Outlook options as discussed in -us/office/forum/office_2016-outlook/outlook-2016-calendar-reminders/8f40bcdd-e3fc-4f29-acaf-544f48d63992 or try the following reported by #Todo18 2351a5e196
