1.1 Photos and Images
When you use OutfitJudge, you may provide photos from your device's camera or photo library. We collect and process these images to:
- Analyze your outfit and provide fashion advice
- Generate style scores, suggestions, and Instagram captions
- Store analysis history locally on your device
Important: Images are compressed before processing and are sent to third-party AI services for analysis. Images are stored locally on your device only, with a maximum of 16 recent items retained.
1.2 Fashion Analysis Data
We generate and store fashion analysis reports including:
- Fit scores and explanations
- Style suggestions and recommendations
- Instagram captions
- Occasion analysis
- Style tips and summaries
This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
1.3 Subscription Information
If you purchase a premium subscription, payment information is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment details. We only receive confirmation of your subscription status from Apple.
1.4 Usage and Analytics Data
We may collect anonymous usage data to improve the App, including:
- Number of analyses performed
- App performance metrics
- Error logs (for debugging purposes)
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide AI-powered fashion analysis and style recommendations
- Maintain your analysis history locally on your device
- Display personalized advertisements (for non-premium users)
- Improve our services and user experience
- Process subscription transactions through Apple
3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
3.1 Google Gemini AI
We use Google's Gemini AI service to analyze your outfit photos. When you submit a photo for analysis:
- Your compressed image is sent to Google's servers via their API
- Google processes the image to generate fashion analysis
- The analysis is returned to our App

4. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
Your data is stored locally on your device using iOS's standard file system. We do not maintain cloud servers or databases that store your personal photos or analysis data.

- Local storage is encrypted by iOS security features
- History is automatically limited to prevent excessive storage usage
- No data is transmitted to our servers (except to third-party AI and ad services as described above)
5. PERMISSIONS WE REQUEST
OutfitJudge requests the following permissions:
- Camera Access: To take photos of your outfit for analysis
- Photo Library Access: To select existing photos from your device
- User Tracking (Optional): For personalized advertising (you can opt out in device settings)
You can revoke these permissions at any time through your device's Settings app.
6. DATA RETENTION
We retain your data as follows:
- Photos and Analysis History: Stored locally on your device. The App automatically maintains a maximum of 16 recent items.
- Subscription Status: Managed by Apple and retained according to Apple's policies
- Third-Party Data: Google and other third parties retain data according to their respective privacy policies
When you delete the App, all locally stored data is removed from your device.
7. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
You have the right to:
- Access Your Data: View all stored analysis history within the App
- Delete Your Data: Remove individual items or clear all history at any time
- Revoke Permissions: Disable camera, photo library, or tracking permissions in device settings

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
OutfitJudge is not intended for children under the age of 4. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 4. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 4 please contact us immediately.
9. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Your images may be processed by third-party services (Google Gemini) that operate servers outside your country of residence. By using OutfitJudge, you consent to the transfer of your data to these services for processing purposes.
10. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
