Outer Banks Youth Choir (OBYC) at Saint Andrews by the Sea brings school-aged youth ages 9 to 19 together to experience the art and joy of singing through quality instruction and performances. We envision youth from across the Outer Banks joining together to experience the power of song.

At OBYC everyone gets a chance to experience joy, friendship, and community through a shared learning of choral singing. We strive to create a supportive and welcoming chorus community, where choristers are growing in confidence and ability, and becoming leaders. Through instruction and performance opportunities, students will be introduced to and experience the rich tradition of choral excellence found in both sacred and secular music.
