I operate from a feminist perspective, with a commitment to social justice and anti-oppression. As a therapist, I feel a responsibility to build and encourage empathy in all of my clients. In doing this, I encourage critical thinking which can involve challenging beliefs, thoughts and behaviors that maintain social inequities.
I am aligned with the mission, vision, and values of the the National Association of Social Workers (MA) and will incorporate these stances in my therapeutic work with clients:
