Club Activities

In addition to weekend cruises, usually to anchorages within a few hours sail of the Magothy River/ Bodkin Creek area, Club events normally include an extended cruise, mid-week cruises, and get-togethers at restaurants and member's homes. In addition, the Club holds two picnics each year. Here are some of our Popular Cruise Destinations

A highlight of the cruising schedule is the annual "Best Wine Cruise". Members bring an under $10 bottle of wine, and the attendees sample and rate each wine. The members who bring the highest rated wine receive a coveted prize. The members who bring the lowest rated wine receive a somewhat less coveted prize.

Recently the club facilitated a cruise in the British Virgin Islands, with eight members enjoying cruising on a large catamaran.
