Overview
Our School Day ("the App") is a homeschool tracking application that helps families log learning activities, manage schedules, and track subject quotas. We built the App for homeschool families, including our own.
This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information. The App is designed to work offline. Your homeschool data is stored on your device, not on our servers.
Information We Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit your homeschool data.
The App does not require an account, login, or registration. We do not operate a backend service that receives your student names, activity logs, schedules, or other content you enter in the App.
We do not use analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools in the App.
Information Stored on Your Device
All data you enter in the App is stored locally on your device, including:
- Student names and grade levels
- Activity logs (subjects, durations, dates, notes)
- Weekly schedules and subject quotas
- App settings
This data remains on your device unless you choose to export or share it (for example, via CSV export using your device's share features).
You are responsible for your device and any backups you create. Uninstalling the App may delete locally stored data unless your device or backup system retains it.
Optional Feedback
The App includes an optional Send Feedback link that opens a Google Form in your web browser. If you choose to submit feedback:
- You may voluntarily provide information in the form (such as email, feature requests, or comments)
- That information is handled by Google according to Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy)
- We only receive what you choose to submit through the form
The App does not automatically send any of your homeschool data to the feedback form.
Data Export and Sharing
The App allows you to export activity logs as a CSV file. Export and sharing are initiated by you through your device (email, cloud storage, etc.). We do not receive or access exported files.
Children's Privacy
The App is intended for use by parents and guardians to track homeschooling for their children. It is not directed at children under 13 to use on their own.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Any information about students (such as names) is entered by a parent or guardian and stored only on their device.
If you believe we have received information from a child in error through the optional feedback form, contact us at twoliapps@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Third-Party Services
The App may link to third-party services you choose to use. Google Forms is used for optional user feedback, only when you tap Send Feedback. We do not control third-party services and encourage you to review their privacy policies.
Data Security
Because your data stays on your device, its security depends largely on your device settings (screen lock, OS updates, etc.). We recommend keeping your device secure and updated.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
If we add features that collect data (such as cloud sync or accounts), we will update this policy before or when those features are offered.
Your Rights
Because we do not collect or store your homeschool data on our systems, there is no account data for us to access, correct, or delete. You can delete all App data by uninstalling the App or clearing its data in your device settings.
