Co-creating Our Flourishing Future
The need for change
The global Covid-19 pandemic has created unprecedented levels of change, uncertainty and challenge to how we live and work. The way our colleagues from right across the College have rapidly improvised, created solutions by adapting living spaces into working and teaching spaces almost overnight to maintain as high a level of service as possible, is a remarkable example of human resolve.
We believe that if we do not prepare now to re-imagine the future, our College, will not be ready when this crisis passes. We have identified ways to manage this change as particpatively and inclusively as is possible using a four stage process which is outlined below.
We will work together to manage change positively
We will manage this process by:
Inviting comment to discover the best of 'what is' that needs to be preserved
Inviting further suggestions to imagine a more positive future from the positive examples of the past
Gathering together (virtually) to create images of how to design to realise shared dreams and ideals
Organising into action groups to formulate emergent themes and integrate these within positive plans for change.
To help this process we need you to contribute by sharing your thoughts, views and suggestions on some of the positives from now that we should retain in the future . This will the starting point in re-designing our College. Your contributions will ensure we can embrace emergent change positively at this time of risk and uncertainty.
