Mijung Kim
김미정
Mijung Kim is an educator and researcher specializing in art history, visual culture, and creative education. She earned her Ph.D. in Visual Culture Studies from the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) in Beijing and has taught and conducted research in art history, contemporary art, visual culture across the United States and Asia. She currently serves as the Director of Oikos University Extension and the Fine Arts Program, while teaching art history and contemporary art at Laney College and Oikos University.
미술사와 시각문화 연구를 기반으로 예술과 디자인, 창의교육을 아우르는 교육자이자 연구자입니다. 중국 중앙미술학원(CAFA)에서 미술학 박사(Ph.D.)를 취득했으며, 미국과 아시아에서 미술사, 현대미술, 시각문화 분야의 강의와 연구를 이어오고 있습니다. 현재 Oikos University Extension 및 Fine Arts Program Director로 재직하며, Laney College와 Oikos University에서 미술사와 현대미술을 강의하고 있습니다.

She has spent years developing tailored curricula for learners of all ages, guiding students from foundational pronunciation through business conversation and natural, native-level expression. Her teaching approach emphasizes both accuracy and enjoyment in the language-learning process.
