After several months of research, photos, objects, and narratives collected on the Amazigh musical heritage of the city are presented to the public. Although traditionally associated with rural regions of the mountain and plain, Amazigh musical production, in the industrial sense of the term, experienced its golden age in Casablanca. Moreover, the city is currently witnessing the rise of Ahouach music with the increasing number of troupes of young artists who rejuvenate this traditional art by combining songs, gestures, percussion, and poetry. But the metropolis of Casablanca is also home to the Tamazight music of the Middle Atlas, with veterans of the music scene who have had careers there, notably Bennacer Oukhouya, Hadda ou Akki, and Abdelwahed Hajjaoui, to name just a few. It is also in Casablanca studios that many Riffian artists, including Lwalid Mimoun, have recorded their albums. The city is also the birthplace of the Casablanca school of Tirruyssa during the colonial period, with Rrays Sasbou and, especially, the golden age of Amazigh music with artists like Albensir, Ben Mbark, Talbensirt, Ouahrouch, Tihihiyt, Atigui, etc.
