About Me

I am 14 years old, and from Benjamin, Utah. I compete in Bareback Riding, Bull Riding, and Chute Dogging at Jr. Rodeos. My favorite event is Bull Riding. I have wanted to be a Bull Rider since I was very young. In addition to rodeo, I love riding horses, playing sports, and hanging out with friends and family.

I started my first business when I was 7 years old.  It was called Otto's Pony Rides.  I had a mini horse that I would give rides on to my friends, cousins, and neighbors.  I even dressed her up as a unicorn for a birthday party. After that I bought a small herd of goats and sold their offspring for a couple of years.  That ended up not being very profitable, so I sold my goats and started buying bucking bulls to practice on.  I now own a small herd of practice bulls that I ride whenever I get the chance. I love bucking bulls, and if it is warm outside, I can usually be found hanging out with my bulls. My friend Macrae Watkins and I recently started a podcast called the 90 Point Podcast. We share it on my YouTube channel, where I also share videos about my life. We are planning to start making hats and shirts with our Podcast Logo to sell and to help support our podcast.

My most successful business has been Roughy Otto Western Goods. I make and sell Cowboy Fidget Spinners (toy trick ropes) that are really easy for anyone to play with.  I created a website to sell them online. I market them through my Instagram where I have worked with leading Western Influencers to increase my sales.  I have also sold them in person at many markets and parades around the state of Utah. 

I have been very lucky to work with some great brands.  I appreciate every company that is willing to work with me.  I choose to work specifically with companies that I would support myself and recommend to family and friends.
