Lead Tutor & Academic Mentor
I bring a unique blend of technical expertise and a deep-seated passion for mentorship to every tutoring session. My journey in advanced academics began in the 6th grade, when I started performing two grade levels ahead in mathematics—a momentum I maintained throughout my collegiate career. I hold a degree in Information Science and Data Science, with specialized minors in Psychology and Statistics, which helps me understand not just the data, but the diverse ways students learn and process information.
Beyond my academic background, my professional experience at industry leaders like Amazon allows me to show my students how classroom concepts actually apply to the real world.
Over the past two years as a professional tutor, I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of students, including those with disabilities and learners of all ages and backgrounds. Whether we are practicing ABCs or mastering complex Data Science, I am dedicated to creating an inclusive, patient, and high-energy environment where every student feels empowered to excel.
Specialized Tutor
I love getting to the nitty-gritty of concepts, feeling that you shouldn't be taught how to do something, but why. Instructing at Mathnasium, students often asked me the age old question "when will this ever be important?" I intend to answer that! I believe that the most important thing to do is to start with the basics. With the right foundation, anything is possible!
Along with maintaining a perfect GPA and taking an abundant amount of AP courses in highschool, I also help tutor fellow students during my study hall. My passion for learning quickly exemplified by my accelerated courseload, continuing to be two years ahead in math and a year ahead in both science and social studies. Recieving highest honors for several years in a row, both peers and older adults often ask me what atribute to my success. The answer is simple: learn to love what you're learning and exel at it!
