Hi, I’m Jamie, the founder of Otterstream Nutrition.
My interest in nutrition began with a simple appreciation for how food connects us to our health, our environment, and our daily lives. I’ve always enjoyed gardening and growing food, and over time, that curiosity grew into a deeper interest in how the foods we eat can support healing, energy, and an active lifestyle.
At this stage in my life, I am also the primary caregiver for my mother, who is living with Alzheimer’s. That experience has strengthened my belief in the importance of nourishing the body with care, patience, and practical habits that support long-term health and wellbeing. It has also deepened my understanding that health is not just about individual choices, but about supporting people through different seasons of life.
I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Integrative Nutrition and pursuing the Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) credential. Through this training, I focus on evidence-based nutrition and a whole-person perspective on health—considering how nutrition, lifestyle, and daily habits work together to influence how we feel and function.
I believe nutrition should feel supportive and realistic, not restrictive or overwhelming.
Rather than focusing on rigid plans or quick fixes, I work with clients to better understand their current habits, lifestyle, and health goals. Together, we develop practical strategies that can be integrated into everyday life. Small, consistent changes often lead to the most meaningful and lasting improvements.
My work focuses on helping clients:
• build sustainable eating habits
• support energy and metabolic health
• improve digestion and overall well-being
• feel more confident and informed about nutrition
Whether someone is looking for guidance around meal planning, improving their daily nutrition habits, or working toward specific health goals, my goal is to provide thoughtful, personalized support.
If you’re curious about working together, a free discovery call is a great place to start.
During this brief conversation, we can discuss your goals, what you’re currently experiencing, and what your goals are. I’ll also share a little more about my approach so you can get a sense of whether it feels like a good fit for you.
There’s no pressure, just an opportunity to connect and see if personalized nutrition support might be helpful.
