## Information We Collect
### Information You Enter
OTProof may store information that you manually enter, including:
- Worker name
- Overtime records
- Salary information
- Hourly wage information
- Overtime rates
- Notes and comments
- Report titles
### Photos and Documents
If you choose to use the Evidence Vault feature, OTProof may store:
- Photos taken using your device camera
- Images selected from your gallery
- Overtime slips
- Salary slips
- Attendance records
- Other work-related documents
**These files are stored locally on your device only. They are never uploaded to any server.**
### Generated Reports
OTProof may generate:
- PDF reports
- Salary summaries
- Overtime summaries
- QR-code-enabled reports
These files are created on your device and may be shared by you using your device's sharing features (WhatsApp, Email, etc.).

OTProof does **NOT** collect:
- Passwords
- Banking information
- Credit card information
- National ID numbers
- Passport numbers
- Biometric information
- Contact lists
- SMS messages
- Call logs
- Location data (GPS)
OTProof does **NOT** sell, trade, or transfer your personal information to any third party.

## Data Storage
OTProof works **primarily offline**.
- Most data is stored **locally on your device** using Hive local database
- Your overtime records, salary records, notes, images, and reports remain **on your device only**
- No data is uploaded to our servers
- No cloud backup is enabled by default

## Permissions Explained
### Camera Permission
The camera permission is used **only** to:
- Capture overtime slips
- Capture salary slips
- Capture attendance records
- Save evidence images
Camera access is only used when you **actively choose** to take a photo.
### Internet Permission
The internet permission is used **only** to:
- Download PDF fonts for report generation
- Enable sharing of PDF reports (WhatsApp, Email)
OTProof does **not** upload any personal data using internet permission.
### Storage Permission
Storage permission (Android only) is used **only** to:
- Select evidence images from your gallery
- Save generated PDF reports
- Share generated reports
OTProof does **not** access your personal files other than what you explicitly choose to select.

## Sharing Reports
When you choose to share a report, PDF, image, or document, OTProof uses your device's built-in sharing features.
**You control** where and with whom the file is shared.
OTProof does **not** have access to where you share files.

## QR Codes
QR codes generated by OTProof are created **locally on your device**.
QR codes may contain report information necessary for report identification or verification.

## Children's Privacy
OTProof is **not directed toward children under the age of 13**.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

## Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information stored within the app.
**However, no software can guarantee absolute security.**
Users are encouraged to:
- Secure their devices with passwords or biometrics
- Regularly back up important records
- Export important reports when needed

## Data Deletion - How to Delete Your Data
### Delete Individual Records
You can delete any of the following directly from within the app:
- Overtime records (from Home screen or Calendar)
- Evidence photos (from Evidence Vault)
- Reports (delete the PDF file from your device storage)
### Delete All App Data
To delete **all** data stored by OTProof:
**Option A - From within the app:**
1. Open OTProof
2. Go to **Settings** tab
3. Scroll to **Danger Zone**
4. Tap "Clear All Overtime Records"
5. Confirm deletion
**Option B - Uninstall the app:**
1. Uninstall OTProof from your device
2. All locally stored data will be removed automatically
**Note:** Once data is deleted, it cannot be recovered.

## Third-Party Services
OTProof may use third-party open-source libraries to provide functionality such as:
- PDF generation (`pdf`, `printing`)
- QR code generation (`qr_flutter`)
- Image selection (`image_picker`)
- File sharing (`share_plus`)
These libraries operate **within the app** and do **not** automatically receive your personal records.
