The Ōtorohanga Tennis Club is situated alongside Rangipare Street, with the local walk along the stop banks as it's background.   The club has four artificial grassed courts all of  which have floodlighting.   A spacious pavilion provides an inviting atmosphere for all those who partake in tennis in Ōtorohanga.    With the support of our local community we can proudly say our Ōtorohanga Tennis Club successfully raised $100, 000 in 2017 to resurface all our courts with astro turf.

We run a range of popular tennis events. The friendly, social atmosphere of the Ōtorohanga Tennis Club is one of our attractions and we play  for 12 months of the year!  

For those of you who enjoy social tennis, we run an extremely successful Business House Tennis competition.  This is very popular on a Monday night.  There are three rounds; 5:15 pm, 6:30 pm  and 7:30 pm.

Club nights are every Wednesday night (starting at 6 pm).   This is a time where all our club members come together, choosing the amount of games you want to play each night is definitely an attraction.  You can choose the number of games you play, mixed doubles, men's doubles or women's doubles.  New members feel very welcomed at club nights and are well supported in playing games that suit their level of tennis.  

Senior and Junior Coaching is on offer again this season.

We have close to  50 members with a growing membership.  We have a number of membership options available to suit individuals families and students.
