An in-person, informal amateur radio activity to operate HF in an aesthetically pleasing environment. The emphasis is on getting new or idle amateur radio operators onto the HF bands.
Anyone interested in portable ops and/or HF operating, earning activation points, learning new modes, different antennae or just good food, coffee and fellowship.

Keeping it simple, there will be one transmitter at the site provided by the organizers.
Each attendee may elect to be an activator, first come - first serve, time and band conditions permitting.
Each activator will attempt to complete his/her activation by making 10 unique contacts after which the next activator will begin.
The goal is to produce as many successful activators as possible - not for any one attendee to make as many contacts as possible.
Activators may log the same remote hunter/chaser station since each activator is conducting a unique activation.
One mode will be selected for the day's activity to minimize setup delays between activators.
The mode will typically be voice but future activities may center on FT8, Fldigi, QRP, etc.
A control operator will always be present to assist.
Each licensed activator will submit his/her personal activation log for POTA, SOTA, IOTA or WWFF credit.
Unlicensed activators operating under the control operator will submit a combined activation log under the club's callsign.
Activators can attend multiple activities to accumulate 44 or more contacts for WWFF activation credit where applicable.
Attendees would pay the park entrance fee if applicable (Typically only necessary at South Carolina state parks - e.g. $2-$6).
