STATEMENT

I've created artwork about self expression, discovery and empowerment from a young age. My artwork represents who I was at the time, a child figuring out themselves, and one currently growing through adulthood. My goals are to use art as a self expression of my own femininity and to feel safe in my personal image. I want to use imagery to show that femininity is a feeling and can be felt by anyone.

My Fine Arts education began when I entered the School Lehigh Valley Charter Arts. During my high school education I was taught the formal beginnings of making an art piece. The ways to improve during each step and express oneself. My ambition to become an artist was created when I was around 14. What started off as a hobby grew into a passion during my childhood and is here to stay to this very day.
