Conference Scope

OSSAN 2022 Conference aims to represent the latest research in Open Science and highlight the major issues in open science in South Asian academia. With this in view, we invite abstracts and speakers to participate in the conference.

Topics

OSSAN 2022 Conference welcomes high-quality and original abstracts on the following themes:

• Democratisation of Science

  • Citizen science

  • Traditional knowledge on the open platform

  • Open archives

  • Open science infrastructure

• Responsible Research assessment

• Open Access, Open research data, Open Source

• Open Science in Social sciences and humanities

• Open Science frameworks and policies

Abstract Submission Guidelines

• Abstract should be limited to 500 words.

• The abstract should contain Title, Authors and Affiliations, Background of proposed research, Problem statement, Methodology, Solution/Conclusion. Title and Authors and Affiliations would not be counted in the word limit.

• Abstract should be submitted in .doc or .docx format. Please save the name of the file in the following format “CorrespondingAuthorFirstNameLastName_OSSAN2022.docx”

• The abstracts should be in English.

• Please see this sample for the format.

• The submitted abstracts would undergo a review process. Selected abstracts would be published in a “Book of Abstracts” and a few select abstracts would be invited for a short presentation during the conference.
