I am a Senior Researcher at the Bank of Israel, where I work at the intersection of policy and academic research. I enjoy bridging research and practice by using rigorous analysis to contribute to policy decisions, and drawing insights from real-world challenges to advance academic research.
My research focuses on two main areas:
Information Economics, Expectations, and Forecasts
I study how information shapes beliefs and economic decisions, with particular emphasis on uncertainty and disagreement among agents.
Venture Capital and High-Tech Financing
I explore the unique role of venture capital in fostering innovation, particularly within the context of Israel’s "Startup Nation" and its significant global integration.
I’m particularly interested in the macro-financial aspects of these topics - how they connect to monetary policy, financial flows, and broader macroeconomic outcomes. My research combines both theoretical modeling and empirical analysis.
