Our cattle receive no growth hormones and are grass fed and grass finished. With 400+ acres of woods and pastures to graze, with home grown hay to eat in the winter, Oslin Creek makes sure it's cattle are fed and cared for - the way our ancestors who began farming this land in 1792 would have wanted.

Our pigs are Berkshire/Duroc crosses purchased at eight weeks old from a farm in Amherst, Virginia. They are fed a  14% protein ration from Staunton Feed Mills right up to processing time, ranging from 300-400 lbs at processing.

During the course of a year, we raise 200+ meat chickens, favoring the Cornish Cross variety. From day one to processing, eight to ten weeks out, our chickens are fed a non-GMO, soy-free ration from Sunrise Mill, located in Staunton, VA, plus whatever grass and bugs they can eat.
