Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to the OS Launcher 26 - Home Screen app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by TechZenith JSC (collectively, the "Application"). TechZenith JSC is hereby referred to as the "Service Provider".
Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include information such as
Your device's Internet Protocol address
The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages
The time spent on the Application
your mobile operating system you use
Information We May Process
Data stored on your device (not sent to our own servers)
We may store the following on your device: your home screen layout (shortcut positions, folders, widgets, wallpapers, and appearance settings); information about installed applications (app names, icons, and package names) so the launcher and app library can work; custom app labels and icons; and other launcher settings. We may also store whether you have completed first-time setup. This data is used to run the launcher and is not uploaded to servers operated by us for those features.
Data accessed when you grant permission or enable a feature
Contacts. If you allow the read contacts permission, the App may read contact names, photos, and phone numbers to show contact widgets and contact search on your device. We do not upload your address book to our servers.
Calendar. If you allow the read calendar permission, the App may read calendar events to show the calendar widget on your device. We do not upload your calendar to our servers.
Notification access. If you enable notification access for the App, we use notification metadata (such as the app package name and badge count) only on your device to show notification badges on app icons. We do not use this access to read the content of your messages or emails and send that content off your device.
Location and weather. If you enable location for the weather widget or weather setup, the App may obtain your device location (such as latitude and longitude) to show weather forecasts.
Uninstalling apps. If you use the uninstall feature, the App may request removal of an app package only when you choose to uninstall an application.
Photos and wallpaper. If you choose a custom wallpaper or image, the image is processed on your device (for example, cropping or editing).
You can revoke permissions at any time in Android Settings under Apps, then Liquid iOS Pro Launcher, then Permissions. For notification badges, you can also turn off notification access in system setting
Sensitive permissions
READ_CONTACTS (Read contacts)
Liquid iOS Pro Launcher requests access to your contacts only when you use features that need them, such as the contact widget, contact search on the home screen, or choosing a contact for a shortcut. The App reads contact information such as display names, profile photos, and phone numbers from your device to show them inside the launcher interface. This information is processed on your device to provide those features. We do not upload your contact list to our own servers. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time in Android Settings; contact-related features will not work without it.
READ_CALENDAR (Read calendar)
The App requests calendar access when you add or use the calendar widget or other calendar-related launcher features. The App reads calendar events from your device calendar provider to display upcoming events on the home screen. Calendar data is used only to show information in the App and is not sent to our own servers. You can revoke calendar permission in Android Settings at any time.
Notification access (Notification Listener Service)
If you enable notification access for Liquid iOS Pro Launcher, the App can read limited notification information so it can show notification badge counts on app icons on your home screen. The App uses the originating app’s package name and notification count metadata. It does not use notification access to read the full text of your messages, emails, or other private notification content for transmission to our servers. Badge data is used on your device to update the launcher UI. You can turn off notification access at any time in Android Settings under Special app access or Notification access.
QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES (Query all packages)
As a home screen launcher, the App must discover applications installed on your device so it can display them in the app drawer, home screen, folders, search, and app library. The App queries installed packages and launcher activities to list, open, organize, and manage shortcuts for your apps. This is core launcher functionality and is not used to collect your personal messages or files. Installed app information is processed on your device for launcher features. We do not operate a separate server that receives your full installed-app list for unrelated purposes.
REQUEST_DELETE_PACKAGES (Request delete packages)
This permission allows the App to send a system uninstall request when you choose to remove an application from the launcher (for example, through uninstall or app management flows). The App only triggers uninstall when you explicitly confirm that action. We do not uninstall apps without your instruction.
Location (Approximate / Precise location)
Location permission is requested when you set up or refresh the weather widget or other weather-related features that need your current area. The App may use your device location, such as GPS or network-based location, to obtain weather forecasts. Location coordinates may be sent to our weather data provider (OpenWeatherMap) only to retrieve weather information for your area. Location is not used for unrelated tracking. You can deny or revoke location permission in Android Settings; weather features that depend on location will not work without it.
INTERNET and network-related permissions
The App uses the internet connection to load advertisements, receive remote configuration, send analytics events to Google Firebase, and fetch weather data from third-party APIs. Network state permissions are used to check connectivity before network requests and to support normal App operation. These permissions do not by themselves grant access to your contacts, calendar, or notification content.
Advertising ID and ad-related permissions
The App includes Google AdMob advertising. Related permissions and identifiers (such as the Advertising ID) may be used by Google’s ad services to deliver, measure, and limit ads according to Google’s policies and your device ad settings. Ad-related analytics events may also be logged through Firebase Analytics. You can reset or limit ad personalization through your Google account and Android ad settings.
SET_WALLPAPER and wallpaper-related access
The App may set or apply wallpapers you choose as part of launcher customization. Images you select for wallpaper are processed on your device. We do not require contacts or location permission for basic wallpaper features.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED
This permission allows the launcher to restore certain behaviors after the device restarts, consistent with standard launcher operation (for example, staying available as the home screen). It is not used to access your personal content.
VIBRATE
Used for short vibration feedback on certain launcher interactions, if enabled in the App or system.
Cookies and tracking technologies
The Application or its third-party SDKs may use cookies, SDKs, pixels, and similar technologies to support functionality, analytics, or service delivery. Where required by applicable law, the Service Provider will obtain consent before using non-essential tracking technologies.
