Provide Schools Division Office accurate and timely financial advice, information and service to ensure equitable allocation, judicious spending and efficient utilization of fiscal resources.
Ensures that the SDO is able to comply with financial management policies and procedures.
Conducts seminars and workshops on financial management
Prescribes Division policies and guidelines to standardize implementation of financial procedures and to address financial issues and concerns.
Coordinates with other Functional Division within the SDO as to prioritization of Programs and Projects for the timely submission of Budget Proposal in accordance with the Budget Call.
Facilitates claims, payments of salaries and benefits (pre-audit function), reimbursements (Personnel Services (PS), Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE) , Capital Outlay (CO) expenditures.
Maintains Books of Accounts and Registries of Allotment and Disbursements (RAOD) for timely submission of Financial Reports to oversight Agencies.
