Tips for Success
It is a good idea to have your ideas fully formed before entering the studio.
Rehearse/Practice ahead of time by reading your script out loud to hear how it sounds.
Print out script in a large readable font. Or, use a
teleprompter
on a laptop, phone, or tablet.
Look at the camera.
Keep your body open to the camera.
Depending on the material, smile.
Speak in a clear voice. Don't rush.
What to Wear
Solid colors work best, except for white and black and of course
GREEN
.
Tight patterns and stripes can create an unwanted
moiré effect
.
Glasses can cause shadows and reflections.
Fly away hair can look like you have green highlights.
Make-up can help emphasize features and cut down on shine.
