Welcome to the Oscar 2023 Student Events and Activities Rule Book! This concise guide is your go-to resource for all the exciting events and activities planned for students this year. Let's jump in and explore the rules, schedules, and details for each event, as we embark on a year of creativity, talent, and fun. Get ready to shine, learn, and create lasting memories!
All participants should be in their respective school uniforms and carry their school identity cards.
The visiting contingent should be accompanied by at least one and a maximum of three faculty members, authorized by the Principal of the school.
Adherence to the time limit is mandatory.
Use of foul language is prohibited and will lead to immediate disqualification of the team.
Use of explicit/ abusive content and vulgarity in any form is forbidden and will lead to immediate disqualification.
Schools should ensure that National sentiments and symbols, including the National Flag, are dealt with due reverence by their contingent.
The decorum of a healthy competing environment must be upheld. A courteous behaviour towards fellow participants and others is expected by every participant and every school.
The OSCAR ’23 organizing committee reserves all the right to change a rule if such a change is deemed absolutely necessary.
Judges’ decision will be final and binding.
EVENTS AND REGISTRATION:
To register a school, the complete list of participants along with a passport-sized photograph of each participant (with name, class and school name written on the back) should be sent to the following address on or before 20th of October 2023.

Participants along with the accompanying staff are required to be present at the RSK Campus at 8:00 AM on 27th of October following which the verification of registration will be done.
During registration, the staff in charge of the contingent should produce a document indicating their complete participants’ list. Participants are expected to have an additional passport-sized photograph for the Participation ID which will be issued at the time of registration.
Participants should report at the respective venues 15 minutes before the start of their event.
Students from the classes VIII, IX, X, XI and XII, will be judged under the same category unless otherwise stated. The bonafide list of participants issued by the school will be taken as proof of the students’ class.
Participation in OSCAR ’23 is restricted to students from classes 8 and above.
In any given event, the top three scorers will be awarded 5, 4 and 3 points respectively. These points multiplied by the credit weightage of the event is the score that the team will be awarded on the points table. The school obtaining maximum points at the end will be declared the Overall Champions.
There is no limit on the number of events a student can participate. However, the participant is expected to ensure there is no time clash. The organizing committee will NOT reschedule events or assure changes in the order of entry on stage for such cases.
DISCLAIMERS:
RSK Higher Secondary School is situated in a residential enclave, and you are requested to avoid any disturbance to the residents.
The staff – in-charge of the visiting school is requested to ensure the disciplined conduct of their contingent.
Any disciplinary violation will lead to immediate disqualification of the entire contingent. The Organizing Committee of OSCAR ’23 reserves the final say in all disciplinary related affairs.
The use of props and materials by the participants is at their own risk and the Organizing Committee will not be responsible for the same.
There will be stalls to provide food, snacks, and refreshments. Drinking water is available on the campus, on-demand. Teams are encouraged to make additional arrangements for any special dietary needs.
The usage and possession of electronic gadgets are STRICTLY LIMITED to the designated usage area only. The electronic gadget of any student found using it outside the designated area will be confiscated and shall be returned only by the culmination of the event.
Vandalism is liable to severe actions. Any damage to school property will be charged accordingly from the respective school.
The visiting school are NOT permitted to be assisted by any choreographer unless the choreographer is a bona–fide member of the staff, bearing a bonafide certificate/ authorization letter from the school.
The accompanying staff members from the visiting schools are expected to be in possession of the rulebook at all times.
OSCAR is an event organized by the Old Students’ Association of RSK, without the direct involvement of RSK Higher Secondary School. The School only offers infrastructural support to the event. Hence, from a competition perspective, RSK Higher Secondary School is on par with all other participating schools.
KIRBY'S TOUCH (3 Credits)

Individual event - 2 participants per school
Duration: 60 mins
Rules:

Minimum of 3 panels to a maximum of 5 panels need to be sketched
A4 sheets will be provided
Sketches should be in Black and White
Participants need to bring the necessary belongings
No use of Crayons, Sketch pens, etc...
Originality is expected. No plagiarism

CAPTURING LIFE (4 Credits) Pencils over lenses.
Individual event - 2 participants per school.
Duration: 60 minutes.
Rules :
Participants should represent the live objects kept on the spot on the canvas.
All required mediums, such as oil paint, must be brought by participants.
Using sketch pens, crayons, etc., is not allowed.

FACIES PAPYRUS (3 Credits)

Draw the song.

Participants are to create an illustration/ poster from the lyrics or BGM of a song given on the spot.
Participants should bring their materials. All mediums are allowed.
Any obscenity or offensive depictions will be disqualified

FOOTLOOSE (5 Credits)
One Stage! One Soul! Let’s Dance !
Individual event: 2 participants per school.
Participants should be registered formerly; on-the-spot registration can't be taken.
Prelims: Two participants will battle dance on stage to the music played by the DJ on the spot.
Intermediate: Selected students from round one will battle again in this round.
Finals: Individual performance
No preparation time will be provided.
Properties will be provided on the spot; the best utilisation for 35 seconds during performance earns extra credit.
Vulgarity and obscenity will lead to disqualification.
Mystifying the rule book will also lead the team to disqualify.
The judging panel's decision will be final and binding.
Duration: 1st and 2nd rounds – 90 seconds each. Final round – 120 seconds.
DANCE N' BEATS (5 Credits)
Avengers Ensemble…
2 per team; 1 team per school.
Participants should be registered formerly; on-the-spot registration can't be taken.
Any theme incorporation is appreciated (not compulsory).
A minimum of two dance styles should be performed.
Properties, if any, should be arranged by the participating team.
Music should be brought in a CD or PENDRIVE containing the appropriate song track only and check the audio before your performance with the organisers.
Vulgarity and obscenity will lead to disqualification.
The judging panel's decision will be final and binding.
Duration: 180 seconds.
Mystifying the rule book will also lead the team to disqualify.
TANGO TRIBE (5 Credits)
Do it Big... Do it Right but Do it with style!
6 per team; 1 team per school.
Participants should be registered formerly; on-the-spot registration can't be taken.
Usage of theme/concept is appreciated and may carry add-on points.
Properties, if any, should be arranged by the participating team and relevant to the chosen theme.
Participants are free to dance in more than one style.
Usage of fire, water or any other dangerous props is strictly prohibited.
The judging criteria include choreography, costume, stage utilisation, creativity, expressions, coordination, and overall input.
Music should be brought in a CD or PENDRIVE containing the appropriate song track only. Check the audio before your performance with the organisers.
Vulgarity and obscenity will lead to disqualification.
Mystifying the rule book will also lead the team to disqualify.

HERITAGE'S SWAY (5 Credits)
All the classical dances of India are going to have a meet under our one common roof.
Duo/ trio event – 2 teams per school
Duration : 3 mins
Depending on the number of entries, prelims may be conducted.
Participants should be registered formerly; on-the-spot registration can't be taken.
Properties, if any, should be arranged by the participating team and relevant to the chosen theme.
Usage of fire, water or any other dangerous props is strictly prohibited.
Music should be brought in a CD or PENDRIVE containing the appropriate song track only. Check the audio before your performance with the organizers.
SCENE DRAMA (5 Credits)
Grab the opportunity where the concept takes the centre stage!
5 per team; 1 team per school.
Compress and convert a full-length movie into drama.
The language should be English/ Tamil only.
Judging will be based on characters, acting, plot, dialogue, music, stagecraft, and direction.
Duration: 10 minutes
SCRIPT ON SPOT (4 Credits)
Quest to find a Film Maker… GVM?? Nolan??
Individual event: 2 participants per school.
Prelims: Write a script for famous movie scenes of the decade given on the spot.
Finals: A situation will be given for which dialogue has to be created and should be taught to the judges how to act and perform. (A complete Director's cut)
Judging criteria will be based on how you explain the script and set the feel of the scene.
Vulgarity and obscenity will never be tolerated, leading to immediate team disqualification.
INVESTIGATION (3 Credits)
One Day you wake up in the shoes of a character we Choose… React!
Individual event: 3 participants per school.
A character with a specific background will be given on the spot.
The participant should investigate the situation and respond in the shoes of their character.
Judging Criteria will be based on creativity, investigation of the scene and dialogue’s delivery.
Vulgarity and obscenity will never be tolerated, leading to immediate team disqualification.
Duration: 120 seconds.
MIME (5 Credits)
Tell us something interesting or exciting or make us emotional with your expressions. Speak through your eyes and let the world take a rest.
Six members per team (minimum 5); 1 team per school.
Duration: 5 - 6 minutes
Only actions and expressions can speak.
Background music can be used, but no recorded voices are allowed.
Mask code: White for the Face, black for the brows and red for the lips. Mask code should be strictly followed.
Judging criteria will be based on the Acting, direction and performance.
Vulgarity and obscenity will never be tolerated, leading to immediate team disqualification.
WE WILL MEET. (4 Credits)
Let’s make the Opposite poles Attract.
Two members per team, One team per school
A conversation between two different characters that don't link with each other.
Characters will be given on the spot with a preparation time of 10 minutes on an extended basis.
Prelims: Two Cartoon characters
Finals: Two Cine Characters, or characters from 2 different movies.
Judging Criteria will be based on the performance, spontaneity, and Scripting.
Duration: 90 Seconds.
AD-MAD (5 Credits)
Individualise your product when you have Numbers…
Five members per team; 1 team per school.
Make fun of your product but remember it should be promoted.
Topic will be given on the morning of Day 1 on lot basis and the event will happen at the end of day 1.
The product should be imaginary and valuable in the current society.
Creativity, humour, and product value are the critical judging criteria.
Judging criteria will be based on creativity, performance and Script.
Vulgarity and obscenity will never be tolerated, leading to immediate team disqualification.
Duration: 3 minutes
JAM- JUST A MINUTE (4 Credits)
Individual event: 2 participants per school.
Prelims: Extempore (Topic will be given on the spot)
Selected participants will move forward to the finals.
Finals: Table JAM
A topic will be given on the spot, and the participant is expected to discuss it for a minute.
Further rules will be explained before the start of the event.
JAM's master is the ultimate decision maker. No questions or arguments once the final decision has been made.
To object, slam the table and say, "JAM." The JAM master decides when you are allowed to put forth your objection.
Participants get penalised if the competition objects to rules the judge passes.
BLOCK AND TACKLE (3 Credits)
Individual event: 2 participants per school.
The event is a twisted turncoat.
The participant will speak for both for and against the motion.
When the moderator says 'block', the participant should reverse the motion, and 'tackle' would mean to return to your original motion.
The topic of the talk will be given on the spot.
Duration: 120 seconds
STORY WRITING (3 Credits)
Individual event: 3 participants per school.
The First line of the story will be given on- spot. For every 15 minutes, a One line will be added to the story from where it has to be written.
Duration: 60 minutes.
LUCRETIUS (3 Credits)
Poetry- Let the emotions flow through words.
Individual event: 2 participants per school.
The topic will be given on the spot.
Duration: 60 minutes.
POTPOURRI (4 Credits)
It is not a quiz, but it is still a quiz. It is a pot of puzzles, dumb charades, and fun.
3 per team; 3 teams per school.
Prelims: Written Questionnaire with aptitude and puzzles.
Intermediate: Dumb Charades.
Finals: Mystery Round.
THE BLUES (7 Credits)
Musical event (vocal accompanied by instruments) in which songs can be mashed up irrespective of language.
Rules
4 – 6 participants per team; 1 team per school.
Prelims
Duration: 6 minutes (Arrangements: 2 minutes; Performance: 4 minutes)
Performance should be in any INDIAN language.
Switching of languages is permitted.
Add on points for a positive reaction from the audience.
Finals
Duration: 7 minutes (Arrangements: 2 minutes; Performance: 5 minutes)
Each team will have to play songs in the following genres for at least 1 minute.
Indian languages only
Songs from movies that were released between the periods of 1990- 2010.
Genre like Western, melody, rock etc., are invited.
Rap: To be performed for a minimum of 30 seconds (Optional and proper rapping gains extra points).
Vulgarity, obscenity, and foul language will not be entertained and will lead to immediate disqualification of the team.
ACOUSTIC VIBES (5 Credits)
It is a full instrumental event.
4 – 5 participants per team; 1 team per school.
Duration: 6 minutes (Arrangements: 2 minutes; Performance: 4 minutes)
Add on points for positive Feedback from the audience.
ARTISTE (4 Credits)
Solo vocal event
2 participants per school

RACHNATHMAKATHA (3 Credits)
Creative writing.
Individual event; 2 participants per school.
The topic will be given on the spot.
Duration: 30 minutes.
SHUSHK ATAR (4 Credits)
For those who dare not think mainstream. Try your hand at this event of combination.
Rules of potpourri:
3 per team; 2 teams per school.
Prelims: Written
A written questionnaire on entertainment and riddles.
Finals: Dumb charades.
The team should be able to convey a set of words to the rest of the teammates without a direct indication of numerals or alphabets.
VIKRAY VARTA (3 Credits)
Sales talk
Individual event; 2 participants per school.
The product will be given on the spot.
Language of communication should strictly be Hindi.
Judging panel’s decision will be final and binding.
Duration: 3 minutes.
JAM- O- WRECK (3 Credits)
Rules of potpourri:
Individual event; 2 participants per school.
Prelims: Just A Minute
A topic will be given on the spot and the participant should talk about it for a minute.
Finals: Shipwrecked
After being assigned of a character on a sinking ship, convince the captain aka the judge, to give you the ONLY lifejacket available on board.
Language of communication should strictly be Hindi.
Judging panel’s decision will be final and binding.
PRASHNOTTAREE (4 Credits)
General quiz
Rules of potpourri:
3 per team; 2 teams per school.
Prelims:
Written round with a set of 30 moderate level questions.
Intermediate:
Verbal round where teams get to choose between answer or pass.
Finals: Rapid fire
FIVE A SIDE (10 Credits)
Entry Fees: ₹ 350
Duration: 15 – 5 – 15.
A team shall have eight players [5 + 3] and one manager.
Rolling substitution method.
If the match is tied after full time, a kick from the penalty mark system shall be adopted to decide the winner of the match (3 kicks to each team).
Teams should report 30 minutes before the start of their match.
Players' dress code, including shin guards, shall be maintained throughout the match.
If required, the OSCAR '23 organising committee shall have all the rights to include or replace a team or alter the fixture.
Classic rules of football shall be followed.
Verbal or physical abuse of any form is strictly prohibited and will lead to the immediate dismissal of the team.
Referees' decision will be final and binding.
BASKETBALL (10 Credits)
Boys and Girls
Entry Fees: ₹ 350
Duration: 5 – 2 ½ - 5 – 5 – 5 – 2 ½ - 5.
A team shall consist of 8 players [5 players + 3 substitutes]
Total quarters: 4.
Each quarter's time limit is 5 minutes.
Teams should report 30 minutes before the start of their match.
Players' dress code, including shin guards, shall be maintained throughout the match.
If required, the OSCAR '23 organising committee shall have all the rights to include or replace a team.
Or alter the fixture.
Classic rules of basketball shall be followed.
Verbal or physical abuse of any form is strictly prohibited and will lead to immediate dismissal Of the team.

• இரண்டாம் சுற்று: OSCAR -ன் ஏதேனும் ஒரு நிகழ்ச்சி கொடுக்கப்படும். அதற்கான நிருபர்களால் போட்டியாளர்கள் செயல்பட வேண்டும்.

• அணிக்கு இருவர்; பள்ளிக்கு இரண்டு அணிகள்.
• குலுக்கல் அடிப்படையில் தலைப்புகள் வழங்கப்படும்.
• கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ள தலைப்பில் உரையாட 2 நிமிட காலமும், எதிர் தரப்பு பேசியப்பின் அதை எதிர்க்க 1 நிமிட காலமும் தரப்படும்.
• சுற்றுகளின் எண்ணிக்கை வருகின்றன மாணவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை பொறுத்து உறுதி செய்யப்படும்
BRAIN STROM (5 Credits)

Three per team; 2 teams per school.
Prelims: Questionnaire based on contemporary science, technology, and the development of futuristic technology.
Top five teams will be selected for the finals.
Finals:
Round 1- Boffin’s Nation – A “Who am I?” Round
Round 2- Archives and Contemporary – History and Recent Advances
Round 3- Swap to the Next- You only have option to answer RIGHT.
Round 4- Rapid Fire - Welcome to the Hot Seat
Participants will be informed the rules before the start of the event.
Any kind of malpractice leads to disqualification.
The decision of the quizmaster is final and binding.
PROVE ME (4 Credits)
"The true method of knowledge is an experiment." –William Blake.
Individual event; one participant per school.
The participant is expected to prove a scientific phenomenon given on the spot with explanations and facts.
The participants are expected to develop knowledge of the experiments and facts conducted by scientists to explain a scientific discovery.
The judging panel's decision will be final and binding.
TECHNOMANIA (10 Credits)
3 per team; 1 team per school.
Project Presentation
An exhibition of scientific inventions which should contribute to the future of science and technology.
Students are advised to bring their projects, chart papers to explain to the judges, and Laptops if needed.
Submissions that are not original will be disqualified.
START-UP (8 Credits)
Four per team, two teams per school, 1 submission per team.
Each team can have one staff member as their mentor.
The event will consist of 2 rounds.
Prelims: The participating team must submit their hard copy of the Start-up idea at the registration desk.
Submission at any later time will not be accepted.
The submitted report should formally include everything about their Start-up idea and is advised not to have any loopholes.
Selection will be based on the reports.
Finals: The selected teams will then have to appear for the second round and present their start-up's ideas.
The participants should keep in mind that the presentation should be a formal one.
The presentation can be of any medium, but the judges should be able to understand it, and also, the materials required for the same should be brought with success.
If the presentation includes a PowerPoint Presentation (PPT), the same should be brought in a PENDRIVE.
The students are also asked to carry a backup of the same.
After the presentation, there will be a Q/ A session for 5 minutes.
The judging panel's decision is final and binding.
The idea should be original, feasible, and productive.
Participants should explain the concept involved and understand the scope of their idea.
The submissions that are not original will be disqualified.
BIOWIZARDS (5 Credits)
A Hunt for the Darwin and Leeuwenhoek in you…
Two per team, Two team per school.
Domains covered will include botany, zoology, biochemistry, and new developments in the field of biology.
Teams found in malpractice are subject to disqualification.
The Quiz master's decision will be final.
Prelims: A Questionnaire will be deciding your way to finals.
Top 5 teams will be selected for the finals.
Finals:
Round 1 - Catch up the Chronicle - Historical Events & Advanced facts on research.
Round 2 - Pictionary - quick fix , sketch, and fetch points
Round 3 - Expectra Petronum - a bumper round - can be a saviour for many.
Round 4 - Rapid Fire - fasten your seatbelts for a rollercoaster.

MODEL UNITED NATIONS (MUN) (10 Credits)
It is a debate in which delegates get to discuss national and international issues and try to find a practical solution for the same.
Rules:
This MUN consists of 2 committees.
The participants will be addressed as delegates.
Each school can send one participant per committee, a total of two participants for the event.
The event stretches across two days with five sessions.
Delegates must avoid the use of personal pronouns
Character violation will lead to negative marks.
Using electronic devices/ internet during the committee will fetch negative marks.
Rules of the procedure will be clearly explained at the event's start by the executive board in session 1.
Since the conference is conducted professionally, delegates are expected to maintain decorum during the event's due course.
Faculties are welcome to witness the event.
Committee 1: Crisis committee
This committee is formed as a special organ of the United Nations to resolve any immediate crisis that requires international attention and subsequent UN intervention.
This committee will consist of immediate crises and updates given by the chairpersons during the preceding sessions and the case study given two weeks before the event.
The portfolio of each delegate will also be communicated via e-mail.
The case study will be released via e-mail to the school/ coordinator/ student.
This case study is the central crisis that has to be resolved over the two days of the committee proceedings.
Delegates should strictly abide by their assigned country's foreign policy and make their statements in the committee accordingly.
Delegates are required to come up with feasible solutions to be implemented in the current scenario of society while standing by their portfolio.
Updates will be given as the committee proceeds; the delegates must improvise per the assigned country and portfolio.
Committee 2: AIPPM
The All-India Political Parties Meet (AIPPM) is a forum for unrestricted political debate, discussion, and deliberation, free from the legislative functions of the parliament. Moving from one-party dominance of the Congress in the initial years of establishing a democracy to two-party multi-party, and finally, coalition politics, the nation's politics has been constantly evolving.
The AIPPM provides a platform where diverse political perspectives and personalities come together to make decisions on issues of national importance.
Agenda for AIPPM: Resolution of Kashmir insurgency with possible modifications on article 370 of the Indian constitution.
Students will be assigned the respective portfolio of the political representative. Example: Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, etc., two weeks before the conference date.
Students are expected to partially mimic the character of the respective political leader they're representing but also expected to avoid getting carried away with it.
Delegates are expected to research the given agenda and get prepared on the views of their respective political leader and debate upon the issue for possible solutions and their parties
benefits.
Character violation will lead to negative marking of the respective delegates. Example: The delegate representing Rahul Gandhi supports BJP's policies. Note:
Participants attending the OSCAR '23 MUN are recommended to refrain from participating in other events. No relaxations will be entertained.
All applicants must check their mail regularly for notifications and background reading materials.
TITLE EVENT (15 Credits)
Having the guts to stand out from the crowd? Do you have what it takes to be the best boy/ girl out of the lot? Then this is the event for you.
Any number of participants from a school can participate. However, the student must have participated in at least two events.
Students with an open mind and a good sense of humor will find this prestigious event interesting.

GENERAL QUIZ (5 Credits)
3 per team; 2 teams per school.
Prelims: Written.
A written test of 30 to 45 easy – moderate questions.
Teams with better performance advance to the next level.
Intermediate 1: Verbal.
Selected teams will face a set of question which they can answer or choose to pass.
Intermediate 2: Bidding round.
Highest bid gets to answer the question that’s asked.
Right answer fetches the bid points whereas the wrong one leads to the negative score of the same.
Only 5 teams will advance to the finals.
Finals: Mystery round which will be revealed by the quizmaster before the start of the round
The decision of the Quizmaster is final and binding in all said rounds.

Prelims: An interesting questionnaire is waiting for you, touching all domains of cinema.
Finals:The top 6 teams selected will go through 4 exciting entertainment rounds.
Round 1 - Be the voice of your FAV: kindle the dubbing artist in you.
Round 2 - Join the dots - get ready for Connexions folks.
Round 3 - Libretto - You can be musically correct, but let's see if you are lyrically right!
Round 4 - Match Me - Dialogues and movies have an inseparable relationship. You are here to match it right.
Scores will be awarded for every round. The highest scorer is going to be titled -THE MASTERMIND OF KOLLYWOOD.

Investigation of a crime scene
The game starts at a crime scene and ends with the killer; several clues will connect the killer.
Round 1 - Get on track to search for clues - Escape the room with the key.
Round 2 - Quest - Know the nook and corner of risk to find clues to reach closer to the killer.
Round 3 - Find the killer - mystery awaits!!
RC Race ( REMOTE CAR )
Entry fees is ₹ 50.
The game is an individual event.
The competition will be among three members.
The player has to finish the designated laps in the shortest period possible.
When a player gets off the path, +2 seconds will be added to the total finishing time.
The player who has completed the race with the shortest period at the end of DAY 2 will be declared the winner.
SHORT FILM (SCHOOL LIFE)
Group Event (4 to 6 members per team, one team per school)
Entry fee:- Rs 200 (per team)
Event Rules :
Short films must be taken after the date of announcement.
Participants make sure the audio is clear.
The video resolution should be 1920x1080.
Participants should have their films in an empty pen drive; the file name should be their schools.
Judging will be based on characters, acting, plot, dialogue, music, and direction.
Vulgarity and obscenity will never be tolerated, leading to immediate team disqualification.
Creativity in how the character is played adds additional points.
No person/ institution should be defamed directly.
Credits should be added at the end of the video.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Individual event : 3 participants per school.
Entry fee: Rs. 100
Event Rules:
Photos must be taken inside the RSK campus on the event date.
The image should not exceed 2 MB and 2000x1500 pixels.
Participants must be able to explain about the photograph.
Each participant must submit only one photo.
Photos should be submitted to the allotted e-mail ID along with the participant's name and school name.
CTRL PLAY ( ONLINE GAMES )

Duration: per play 10 to 15 minutes
Games Available: Play Station- WWE Raw, Downhill Domination, etc.

Prelims:
Cricket quiz
No use of mobile phones or electronic gadgets if, in case of usage, OSCAR 23 have the right to disqualify the team directly.
A questionnaire will be given where a basic set of questions related to cricket will be asked. It will be an objective questionnaire. Negative markings are awarded for the wrong call. You'll have star questions in case of a tie. The star question's result would be a decider. The top 10 teams scoring the highest will qualify for the finals.
Finals:
Each team will be given a lot. You will get a team with the retained player based on the lot.
All the participants should take a 14-member squad ( mandatory ). Four retained players being given ten players must be taken.
A particular amount will be given in the auction.
With that amount, they have to build the team.
Every player will have a certain number of points.
The points will be declared on the spot.
With the given sum of money, the team that manages to make a combination of a good squad with the highest points will win.
(Example: All the teams must contain a batsman, all-rounder, wicketkeeper, spinner, and a pacer and substitutes accordingly.)
HUMAN FOOSBALL
Eligibility: Any person shall be deemed eligible to participate in the game if the following requirements are met:
The team has paid a registration fee of ₹ 200.
Is in good physical health.
All risk and responsibility forms are signed by each member of the team.
The players:
Each game shall have two participating teams.
Each team must field at least no more than 6 players which must include one Goalie, 4 field players at any time during the game.
General rules:
The game is just like tabletop foosball but with real people.
People will face the opposite team’s goal.
Players need to get in position and hold onto the PVC pole with both hands all the time.
Players will be tied to the foosball pole by their waist with a belt.
They cannot step outside of the marked area.
The game starts by rolling the ball into play from the midcourt starting area.
Play continues until a penalty occurs, the ball is out of reach or out of bounds or a goal is missed or is scored.
Players must move together from side to side. However, no player (except the Goalie) is permitted to move forward or backwards on the court in a marked movement zone.
Players and Goalies cannot use their hands.
If they let, go of the foosball pole and touch the ball with their arms or hands it will be a penalty and that player will receive a Yellow Card.
The first offence receives a Yellow Card warning.
The second offence Yellow Card results in one point deduction.
The third offence receives Red Card rejection.
Soccer ball must remain below the foosball pole at all times.
When a penalty occurs the ball should be placed at the feet of one of the forwards of the non – offending team.
No kicking or attempting to kick an opponent.
No tripping or attempting to trip an opponent.
Players on the ground are considered “radioactive” – they are not to be touched and should not be active in the play until they are on their feet.
Verbal or physical abuse to another player or the referee will not be tolerated.
