Opinion pieces allow me to not only share my opinions, but they help to get my thoughts on paper, especially if it is a subject that is current and important to me. In the first semester of the 2025-2026 school year, instead I mainly focused on sports and school/local news, but I was able to get two opinion pieces out.

Sports

Sports have been one of my biggest responsibilities and I had the privilege of following around the Burlingame Football and Cheer teams during Fall '25. I mainly took photos, but I was involved in the social media posts for the games and wrote post-game cheer recaps.
