I was born in Riverside, CA, on August 8, 1997.
By 11th grade, I wanted to pursue a career in video game development after watching the documentary Indie Game: The Movie. After graduating from high school, I attended Norco College in 2015 to study Game Design. The classes that I took mostly involve subjects like the principles of game design and game programming. And since May of 2020, I participated in a number of game jams to improve my skill as a lead game designer.
These are projects that I've made, by the time when I was at school and/or participating in game jams online.
I have them listed as my most recent, at the very top, and other projects I've made in the past at the bottom under Other Titles. I mention my role, what engine it was made on, the name of the game jam it was submitted to, an overview of what the project is about, and a brief description on the process of making it. Some projects have a link to the game page itself or a YouTube video showing how the game plays out.

MicroFPS is a first person shooter which was made in three days from an event hosted by several instructors and students from Norco Community College.
Members were provided a template to use for the project, and were given three days to create our own level/game with the assets.
My goal was to create the aesthetic of a fast-paced environment where the player would constantly have to move around and take on enemies. Some elements were inspired by the original Half-Life and Doom.

A 3D Mobile game created during the spring of 2019, at Norco Community College.
The whole class worked with a client that was promoting a show for PBS, and wanted a game that would be considered appropriate and fun for all ages. We wanted to capture the aesthetic of old school side-scrolling games like Sonic the Hedgehog (Sega Genesis), while also borrowing influences from mobile games like Super Mario Run and Alto's Adventure.

Game Jam: GameDev.TV
A 2D action game, made in Unity at a game jam hosted by GameDev.TV, that takes place in a dungeon. The player must fight off the undead, until sunrise, to win the game.
The theme of the game was "Time", and we wanted to create a survival game where resources were limited to the player. We borrowed influences from games like The Binding of Isaac and Nonstop Knight.
Engine: Unity
Role: Lead designer and programmer
Game Jam: Scream Lite
A 3D adventure horror game that was made for a game jam, hosted by Scream Lite.
Don't go down the sewer is about exploring a sewer, while evading the creatures that lurk there. We wanted to capture the aesthetic of Amnesia The Dark Descent, as it was the game that everyone in the team idolized the most, next to Outlast and Slender.
Don't go down the sewer was ranked 16th as "Best Game" and 18th as "Scariest Game", out of 44 entries.
